Oppholdet vårt på Bluegum hill var helt fantastisk. Vi var syke da vi ankom og Aaissa tok var på oss som vår egen mor. Hun sørget for at vi hadde alt vi trengte og hjalp oss til legen etc. Selv om vi var sengeliggende var det et 10/10 opphold og vi kunne ikke valgt et bedre sted å tilbringe late dager mens vi ventet på å bli friske. Personalet er veldig hyggelig og gjestehuset er utrolig koselig med en fantastisk utsikt over Cape Town. Vi skulle gjerne blitt lenger og kommer gjerne tilbake!

Et fantastisk fint sted å bo i Cape Town. Topp hyggelig og hjelpsomt vertskap, nydelig utsikt fra fine uterom, deilig frokost og koselig sted. Herfra er det mulig å gå til og fra på dagtid. Vi brukte Uber som transportmiddel når vi ikke gikk. Raskt, sikkert, praktisk og billig. Helt sikkert vårt førstevalg for bosted neste gang vi er i Cape Town.

Vraiment une superbe adresse

Très bon accueil avec toutes les explications nécessaires pour passer un séjour réussi à Capetown. L'appartement est très spacieux, luxueux et très bien équipé. Rien ne manque, tout est neuf, moderne et de très bonne qualité. WiFi et Netflix impeccables. Superbe terrasse avec vue dégagée sur le stade, l'océan et la ville. Très bonne literie. Nous y avons passé 4 nuits de rêve. Le quartier est très sécurisé. Le parking privé et fermé est vraiment un plus. Ughetta et Aissa sont 2 personnes charmantes qui savent recevoir et qui prennent soin de leurs hôtes. Grâce à elles, notre séjour a été totalement réussi.

Amazing property in hills (but still very close to city centre), breathtaking view. Beautiful house, very well equipped. Great breakfast and super welcoming host, Ughetta who even let us check out late. Overall we had great stay, would definetely come back!

J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'accueil et le sens du service de la propriétaire qui a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible. C'est grâce à elle que nous avons trouvé un laboratoire médical dans une banlieue résidentielle qui effectue des tests PCR Covid-19 sur les touristes et qui nous a délivré le test négatif indispensable pour rentrer en Europe. L'appartement jouit d'une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et le V&A Waterfront et est très bien équipé (wifi, TV, lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, etc.).

Die Lage ist weltklasse, kurze Wege in die Stadt und ans Wasser und dazu ein super Ausblick. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist ein Erlebnis für sich, einmal wegen des Blicks und dann aufgrund des leckeren und reichhaltigen Frühstücks. Die Poolterrasse lässt vergessen, dass man mitten in einer Großstadt ist. Die Zimmer sind sauber und originell eingerichtet, einziger Kritikpunkt: es fehlt ein kleiner Kühlschrank. Wir werden immer wieder kommen und nie was anderes in Cape Town ausprobieren.

Wonderful service & location. Girls are doing a one of a kind job. And I’ll repeat the note I left in the book in my room- people warned me aboot the baboons stealing my backpack... but nobody warned me about the Bluegum stealing my heart!

Personalized service in a delightful guesthouse

We loved our hosts at Bluegum who were helpful and friendly. We met nice travelers there as well. The guesthouse has a lovely view of Cape Town and a real local feel. It is comfortable and well appointed. The pool has an amazing view. Breakfast is delicious! If you aren't too fond of impersonal hotels and like the idea of very personalized service and advise, you will love the Bluegum Guesthouse!

A nice guest house in a very good area. Rooms super clean i was in a single room which was small but i had no problem. Good location about 20mins walk down a hill to waterfront. Great views from the balcony with a nice pool and seating area. I would recommend this to anyone, only drawback it's on top of a very steep hill so walking up is difficult, taxis uber are cheap enough. Aissa was very kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast too. Thank you.

Blue Gum...by gum!!! get your crampons on!!!

Nice place, great view, but agony to access...one needed to be a mountain goat to ascend and descend the myriad steps down to the actual accommodation...shame because otherwise it was pretty nice.

Skønt gæstehus med en fantastisk udsigt

Vi boede 4 nætter på Bluegum Hill Guesthouse & Apartments i januar 2019. Gæstehuset er beliggende i et stille, roligt og sikkert område i Green Point. Det er højt beliggende og har en fantastisk udsigt ud over bugten i Cape Town. Vi oplevede en dejlig atmosfære på stedet. Vi blev taget rigtig godt imod og fik alt den hjælp vi havde brug for. Morgenmaden var helt i top og kan nydes fra en af de skønne terrasser med den fantastiske udsigt. Det er nemt at komme til og fra gæstehuset og rundt i byen. Vi oplevede en service, som var helt i top. Det er helt sikkert et sted, vi ønsker at vende tilbage til, og som vi vil anbefale til andre. Tusind tak til søstrene som har stedet - Aissa og Ughetta

Excellent choice!

It was amazing. The managers were very helpful and friendly. The staff was very good. Spectacular views. Location is close to my points of interest and easily accessible by Uber. The breakfast on the terrace is a joy.
