"Seventh Heaven" a family friendly holiday home. 2 levels, sleeps up to 9
This two level elevated older style Holiday home, has two living zones. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two separate lounge areas. Parents can use the upstairs area and older kids have their own area below. Also ideal for two families, toddler friendly. Access to upstairs by outside stairs or ramp at the rear. If you want to just relax, or read a book, enjoy a walk or swimming, this is the place for you. Off street parking. Garage and separate carport, no need to shuffle cars to get out of the drive way. Has a small Ocean glimpse from the deck.
THE LOCATION Located in the older part of Cape Pat, within easy walking distance (about 300 meters) to a child friendly, Lifesaver patrolled family beach. The beach has a small swimming pool cut out of the rocks and small cove, ideal for supervised swimming.
The local beaches are a great place to fish off the rocks, from the surf beaches or in a boat. Snorkeling & scuba diving is also available in protected waters at the family beach, a free rudimentary, small boat ramp is available nearby. Close to the beach walking paths or walk along the foreshore on the rocks to First surf beach at low tide checking out the rock pools. Take a bike path ride along the cycle path along the road to Wonthaggi and then the rail trail bike path to Kilcunda or ride to Inverloch along the scenic coast road.
Local General store and pub are both within easy (8 mins) walking distance. The First & Second surf beach are a little further, First beach has a newly built surf club house, and the beach is patrolled, in season, and the other beach, facing West, is not. A great place to watch the sun go down from the sand dunes.
Two playgrounds are within easy walking distance.
BEDROOMS x 4 - Sorry no linen supplied. Bedroom 1 upstairs - Queen bed with a iPod dock alarm clock & 20" LCD TV for a lazy lie in bed. Bedroom 2 upstairs - Double bed and single bunk overhead. Ample room to setup your own porta a cot. Bedroom 3 - Queen bed Bedroom 4 - Two singles.
BATHROOMS Two bathrooms, one on each level, each with a shower & toilet.
LIVING AREAS The property has two lounges, one upstairs and one down stairs. Up stairs has a reverse cycle air conditioner, down stairs is usually cooler, not requiring cooling, it has a large electric wall heater, for heating in the cooler months. Both lounges have Smart large screen TVs. The main upstairs lounge has surround sound system DVD player and media player, through the smart TV. Country & Melbourne TV stations available. Down stairs, it has a full size Air hockey table, Wii game console & Foosball table, Coits, Boche, and Totem tennis to keep everyone amused. Free extensive DVD library to suit all tastes in house. Also has small library of books and board games, card games etc.
OUTDOOR ENTERTAINING AREAS Just off the upstairs lounge, is a large East facing, sunny private deck, it has ample seating with a pull out glass top extension table. The deck has a view over the front gardens, and screened from the street by trees , sea glimpses through the trees. Wind out awnings are available for shade on the deck if shade is required. Outdoor gas BBQ and secondary seating and table located in the small grassed back yard.
KITCHEN The house has a well equipped small kitchen with generous supply of utensils, pots & crockery, but no dishwasher. Included is a Juro bean to cup coffee maker, NESPRESSO pod Coffee machine with milk frother, toaster, Microwave, snack toaster, electric stove and oven and a family sized fridge. Complimentary basic spices, tea, sugar, coffee & milk starter pack. Glad wrap, garbage bags & foil is also supplied.
OTHER FACILITIES Access to the property is via an electric key pad combination lock Out door cold rinse off shower. Hair dryers are located in each bath room. Laundry has a washing machine & clothes dryer. A folding clothes line is located out side, attached to the fence. Reverse cycle A/C & heating, upstairs. A filtered rainwater drinking water tank is located on the deck for guests to use. Under cover parking for two vehicles, garage & carport. Use of x4 bikes, and x3 scooters. There are three 26" Adult bikes with helmets supplied, and one 18" inch child's bike (the owner takes no responsibility for the use and condition of the bike, Guests are required to make sure all controls of the bikes are working correctly before use.)
Please note: As the house is clean when you move in, a BASIC Cleaning charge is included in the tariff. An additional charge will be levied, from the bond, for extra cleaning, if the property is left in an unacceptable state on departure. "Oven cleaning" of baked on spillage, is not included in a basic clean.
Sorry No Pets allowed, as there is no fencing.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS The area is renown for good fishing off the numerous surf beaches and rocks in the area. Dinosaur Walk Discovery & Eagle Rock - Inverloch area Scenic drive bike or car drive along the Bunurong Marine & Coastal park between Cape Paterson & Inverloch. RACV club is on the western side of Inverloch for a great lunch and views over Anderson inlet. Walk along the cliff paths around Cape Paterson to get great views to Wilson's Prom, or walk along the beach & rocks to the First beach at low tide. Rock pool ramble at low tide. Walk the beaches of Harmers Haven. State Coal Mine Exhibit & Tour - Wonthaggi Winery at Philip Island Monthly Sunday Market (Wonthaggi) also look out for other markets in the area over the summer holidays. A regular Sunday market is held at Kongwak. Cinema complexes located in Wonthaggi & Inverloch - during the Summer season Wonthaggi has a Regional shopping centre (8km from Cape Paterson)Kmart, Big W etc Golf clubs are located in Wonthaggi & Inverloch. Bowling clubs located in Wonthaggi & Inverloch. Phillip Island (40km) and Wilson Promotory National Park (70km) Inverloch (15km) are easy day trips. For those who like to ride a bike, you can ride from Cape Paterson to Kilcunda along part of the old rail trail.

We had a great stay and loved the location and close proximity to the beach. Lots of space and the kids enjoyed being downstairs.Very well equipped with everything needed for the stay.
This lovely seaside home is the perfect place to stay for a family beach holiday. The location is within easy walking distance to the beach and also to the local shops and cafe. The home is very clean and well maintained and has every convienience to allow you to enjoy your holiday with the family or as a couple.The host is very responsive and communicates well with guests. Fantastic beach house with everything we needed. The downstairs area is great for kids as is the distance to the beach.

This was our second stay at Ron's property. The house is well fitted out for families, our kids loved the games tables and Wii console. The bikes, scooters and boogie boards also got a lot of use.Ron's communication was excellent.We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this property to others.
Had a lovely time at Ron's house. Was certainly big enough for us, and although we didn't even require the extra accommodation downstairs, our teenager loved playing the Wii and the air-hockey table. Also enjoyed the balcony space with a view towards the ocean (when the weather actually allowed!)

Very comfortable house
We had a great stay at Seventh Heaven. It was extremely clean and very comfortable, esp the beds, great location too- walking distance to the beach. It is ideal for small families or families with teenage kids. Upstairs there is a QS bedroom and a room with bunks, downstairs is a twin room plus a QB room and bathroom. As there is only external access to the bottom level, with a separate locked door, it may not suit families with more than 2 younger children.
The balcony and views of the water are the best thing about this house. We were two families, total 8 people. Two bedrooms and a bathroom on each floor worked well. However we found the main living, dining space and kitchen are too small for 8 people to be together. The kitchen is particularly tiny for a 4 bedroom house.
Wonderful location and a generous sized property that is well equipped to make your stay really easy! Walking distance to the beautiful Cape Patterson Bay Beach or the surf beach - highly recommend
This house has great accommodation for a family and lots of games. The rolling front lawn and balcony are bonuses. It is very close to the Bay Beach and a bit further to the surf
(about 12 mins walk) which we still managed twice a day!
The upstairs living space is so light and airy and all was very clean. Highly recommended.

Great Pad
We loved our time at Seventh Heaven. Great setup for two families with plenty on offer for the kids. The adults also enjoyed the DVD collection after retiring from the sun filled deck. Location is excellent, very quick walk to the kids beach.

Very clean, everything we needed, beach so close
My wife and I along with our two young boys stayed at 7th Heaven over Xmas / NY period and loved it.
The house is one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in and is so close to the beach.
Everything was available when we arrived and the house was well serviced with all you need for a family break.
We had a second couple join us and the separate accommodation downstairs with its own entrance was perfect.
We cant wait to go back.

Excellent house for a family or joint family holiday, close to beach and with many games to keep all entertained. Downstairs play/sleep area for kids separate from adults above a clear winner :-)

A great week at Cape
We were lucky enough to book this place at the last moment for the week ending 17 January. The house is in the older part of Cape Paterson and had every thing we needed including a very impressive sound and video system so we were able to watch the tennis in air conditioned comfort. Cooking and sleeping facilities were first class.
The highlight of the house is a magnificent deck overlooking the tree tops with awnings providing shade. Perfect for a kicking back with a quiet beer or gin tonic after a day at the beach.
Our host could not have been more helpful and friendly and was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
