The Benchmark was lovely. The morning break fast was perfect. We had room 7 and the view and the deck was lovely. Room was tiny it comfortable - not much room for luggage - I was on a long trip before so I just took out what I needed and left the rest in the car. Parking is tight - we were there in offseason - so could see how that could be an issue in the summer months. P-town was fantastic as well!

An outstanding guest house. Very nice accommodations overall with clean, modern decor, simple check-in/check-out, super central to everything in Provincetown, but quietly tucked away a half block in from the main street. Friendly/helpful staff. Excellent experience!

Wonderful Inn in Provincetown
We loved our stay at the Benchmark Inn It was a great location, very nicely run place - wonderful hospitality and very nice breakfast. The room was beautiful, clean, nicely updated bathroom, small serviceable kitchen area, gas fireplace, with access to roof deck, sweeping views of the ocean and rooftops of Provincetown. We met one of the owners and had a fun conversation during breakfast, he clearly love what he is doing. Highly recommended.

Dan and Daniel were phenomenal hosts and may our stay a really relaxing and enjoyable experience. From their walking/hiking tips, to fresh breakfast each morning, they made Ptown feel more like home. We loved the private access to our room from the deck. Clean, quiet, and few blocks away from the heart of the city. Would highly recommend the Benchmark Inn!

Beautiful home a half block from Commercial Street. The location couldn't have been better. While the room was small, it was nicely appointed, very clean and updated. Our hosts were very attentive and a pleasure to get to know. They gave solid advice on local dining options and activities. We had one of the two rooms with balcony access and the view was fabulous. Just be aware that if stairs are an issue, you might want to get a room on a lower floor Highly recommended.

Immaculate, warm, friendly, kind space. Excellent food and coffee in a beautiful setting, with room for communal conversation and sharing, as well as many spaces to relax quietly alone. Spectacular roof deck with a panoramic ocean view, and a one minute walk to the best restaurants, such as Strangers and Saints. Rooms are new, modern, with high end finishes. Daniel brings his Swiss attention to detail to everything he touches, and will be handing you the coffee before you even ask. A solid 10, best in Provincetown.

Excellent place to stay at P-town! Don is an amazing host, very warm and nice. He stayed connected with us throughout our 2 night stay. We stayed in room 7 which had access to the deck with gorgeous views of the ocean. The room was clean, breakfast was delicious, and coffee was perfect! We’ll definitely be going back and staying in room 7 again :)

Parking is difficult in P-Town so this place was a blessing. It was beautiful and had parking so we could walk everywhere. I'm just sorry I didn't book two nights!

Great convenient location
Great location that’s meticulously clean and bright. You can walk into town without a car, which gave us the ultimate small town vibe. We went to dinner at The Squealing Pig and they welcomed us in to the towns trivia game night. Great place as our room had a secondary outdoor entrance to come and go as you please.

Too short a stay.....we only one had night but very much enjoyed the B&B experience. The room was perfect with its own entrance and bathroom. Very clean and every comfort detail well thought out. The working fireplace was a plus! The continental breakfast was delightful and fresh and enjoyed local conversation! Would absolutely stay here again and tell friends about it.

The property is in excellent condition and a perfect location for walking around Ptown. Continental breakfast was provided daily and snacks throughout the day. Don, the host, provided great advice and recommendations for the area. Very LGBTQIA friendly. Will definitely be our go to place to stay the next time we go to Ptown.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Benchmark Inn. The location is ideal if you are wanting to be near the shops, food and entertainment of Commercial St. In addition, each room has outdoor access with a small sitting area on the balcony/porch. I was also impressed with the amenities the rooms provided, such as the ability to cast your shows/movies on the tv from your phone, coffee maker, bar/sink area and shoe cleaning wipes. Breakfast each morning was also delicious and the hosts Dan and Daniel were very hospitable. I also appreciated that their team provides great detail on the Inn and the town prior to check-in. I highly recommend!

The perfect stay
What a fantastic stay in P-Town! Daniel, the innkeeper was very friendly and acquainted us with all of our well-decorated room's features, showed us through the inn's common areas and the delightful breakfast selections. Generally, I have trouble sleeping in hotel beds, but the bed in our room was so comfortable, I was out like a light in no time! The picture I'm sharing is the city view from our room, which includes the ocean and is just gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was very nice if a bit small. The staff is very nice though limited affecting room cleaning timeliness. The soundproofing in the room was nonexistent. You could easily hear conversations in other rooms.

Thank you for reviewing your stay. Yes, it is an old house, but totally renovated and our guests usually don't think that the sound proofing is a problem. Unfortunately we only learned after your departure that the couple in the room next to yours had a loud arguement while you were here. And I understand that you must have been able to hear them. We are sorry you had to witness this, but hope that we will see you again.

This is a charming, spotlessly clean centrally located inn. Our host, Daniel made us feel at home and went out of his way to secure hard to get dinner reservations for us.Our room had everything we needed and had it's own entrance. Breakfast was simple and good. Onsite parking is a big plus. No question, we would stay here again.

Location was great. Managers were very pleasant, informative and helpful. Room was a bit of a disappointment; tiny with a tiny closet. The hard wood floors (knotty pine?) appeared to be the originals from the 1800s and need sanding/refinishing (charm or no). Bring slippers! Also, no bell hops for bags and no room cleaning during our stay "due to COVID".

Wonderful three day stay
We had an amazing three day stay at this lovely Inn. It's on a side street near Commercial street, so walking distance to everything. Comfortable king bed, immaculately clean and very nice Inn host, Don. Great breakfast every morning with homemade bread. Rooms are a bit small, but most of the Inns we've stayed in have been small. Old, historic structures didn't have the large rooms we are used to these days. Love the character of the old wooden floors. I would highly recommend this Inn, and look forward to coming back.
