Room was older ones out front . Floors not cleaned in bathroom. Rooms out front old . Restaurant is closed Until spring . I always check in late and it was nice to Have supper at the hotel .

Horrible, room was not ready when we got there, smelled of smoke & the bathroom floor was filthy, one face cloth & 1 tiny soap, the 2 other couples with us had no heat in theirs rooms. One room had to borrow our remote to turn on their heat pump, it didn’t work for other room, they slept with their jackets on. Very Disappointing from the last time we had stayed there. Don’t stay there ever again

The entry for any back rooms where not cleaned of snow and ice and it a large set of stair. No coffee in the rooms, no hair dyers like stated.

What a total ripoff! This place was absolutely disgusting. This place needs to be completely overhauled. This is the definition of skid row. The bedspreads were filthy. Was scared to even use the shower. You could see the pink mould growing in the corners of the shower. The place stunk like you wouldn’t believe. We went to Sydney and had pre-booked hotel and tickets to see the Celtic Colours Festival and everything else was booked. We had no choice but to stay in this dump. 175.00 per night plus 250.00 deposit (in case we did any damage) 😂 . They should have paid us to stay there. Where is my deposit for pain and suffering? Never slept a wink. Plus they had a bright light shining in the Oceanside hallway. Was like trying to sleep with the light on. Run, don’t walk away from this one!

Good location n easy parking. The shower was ok. Terrible pillows. They really need to do updates. Wallpaper ripped on the walls. The beds we ok but you can tell the mattresses are old and well wore in.

Don’t have high expectations.
Room was barely adequate. Very worn furniture. Bathroom OK. TV and AC worked OK. Had to ask for toilet tissue (none when we arrived) and extra towels. Staff helpful and provided these when we asked. Stayed 2 nights, room was not serviced on 2nd day, bed not made bathroom not cleaned.

I have NEVER IN MY LIFE STAYED IN SUCH A FILTHY DUMP. I was absolutely filthy. There was something splattered on the wall, the floors were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the shower tap was broken, there was tape in the corners of the shower stall. The chair was ripped and dirty, the chest of drawers had a huge cut in the top. The air was musty. There was a gap in the door that you could look through. The keys didn't work. I have told ALL my collegues NEVER TO STAY THERE!! I filed a complaint with the NS Dept of Tourism and the NS Dept of Health. Take this off your booking list. Don't send another customer there, EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bathroom & window had mould. The bed spread smelled like cigarettes. The chair was stained. The curtains were dirty & partly off their hangers. One bed light was burned out. The hall & stair carpets were stained. The halls smelled. A lot of money has been spent to upgrade this property & no one is maintaining it.

The property is very old and run down. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating and changed my room. The first room had a terrible smell, the window did not open. The fan in the heat pump was terribly loud and the door frame was smashed up, not a safe feeling about the room.

The room was clean and could watch MLS on TV. The view out onto the water was gorgeous. The steps down the rear car park - although sturdy - looked like they could do with more weatherproofing.

The propeety needs renovated. Good location, but needs new carpet, beds, everything. Walls were cardboard thin and we could hear way more noise than is conducive to sleep. Also no breakfast which is disappointing.

Location n parking. Price is right for this property as it is outdated. Good shower and bed was ok. Tv didn’t work when we got there n took 2 hrs to get a new cable box. Not enough staff on to accommodated how busy they were.

Won't stay here again.
Not the first time we have stayed here but will be our last. Overpriced for what you get. No breakfast included but there had been a nice restaurant on site but was closed when we got up for breakfast......surprise! Room was dated, bed clothes very wrinkled and bedspread worn. Nothing good to say!

0 stars. DO NOT STAY HERE
Worst night sleep I have ever got in a hotel. The floors are paper thin so kept getting woken up by the people above us. It was awful. The air conditioning never caught up so it was uncomfortably hot all night long. Please don't waste your time. Spend a few more dollars and geta decent night sleep somewhere else!! Also the management never got back to me which in my opinion is not acceptable even for a cheap hole like this.

The location is excellent. Cleanliness was as good as maid could get. Missing lamp shade, Rusty shower Rod, Broken sink with silicone holding it together. Desk chair with seat leather holding on llegs.back stairs outside are slick so they used asphalt wood shingles to stop them from being slick. Hotel needs some remodeling of rooms for minimum stsndards. Price point was 20% less than neighboring hotels.

This hotel is a motel. It is very misrepresented in its description. We walked into our room and walked right back out. The room smelled terrible. The weather atripping on yhe door came off and had clearly been broken for a while. The door barely closed, we had to body check it. Maybe a one star motel. The front desk attendant was very nice.

The room price was good, hospitality good, and issues addressed immediately. Unfortunately the air conditioner leaked water so we had to change rooms, after we changed it was fine. It was close to places we wanted to visit. All in all good.
