Farita, the maid who greeted us on our first day, was lovely and showed us through the property. She and her daughter took care of the house during our stay. We were also lucky enough to have her cook us some fabulous Mauritian dishes. So flavoursome and most welcome after a long day.The house is as described, spacious and quite well equipped. Security was thorough, with alarms, grills, and locks on gates.The pool and garden were well maintained and were a welcome respite, especially on warm evenings, and especially as the beach is not really a swimming beach. Go to Perybere for this, which is just a short drive away.Some basics would have been appreciated, like tea and coffee, oil, vinegar, and a few herbs and spices for cooking. More toilet paper was needed for our week-long stay. Unfortunately, the shower drainage in one of the rooms needed attention, as it didn't drain properly, but no doubt will get repaired, as the house is well-maintained.We would recommend anyone to stay here. It's spacious, comfortable, and the rear terrace and pool are standout features. ##### Wendy J. A 300 mètres de l'église et des marchands de poissons. On a séjourné à sept pendant 12 jours. La villa est en deuxième ligne, on voit la mer, au dessus de la maison devant, Coin de mire et au loin Gabriel et l’ile Plate. La plage est à 50 mètres mais ce n’est pas un belle plage et nous n’y sommes allé qu’une seule fois.La villa est facile à repérer sur Maps avec son toit rouge (comme ND Auxiliatrice) qui abrite une varangue sous laquelle l’espace est vaste et agréable. Le coin en herbe est assez vaste pour jouer à la pétanque sous les deux cocotiers. Le petit chemin d'accès n'est pas facile à trouver la première fois.La villa est ancienne, un peu vétuste Elle a besoin d'un sérieux rafraichissement tout comme la piscine. Mais il y a de l'espace La cuisine est bien équipée (nous n'avons pas fait appel à Farida pour les repas) mais il manque un presse agrume La femme de ménage vient tous les jours sauf dimanche. La literie est de bonne qualité. Devant la villa on peut garer deux véhicules. Les clims fonctionnent correctement. La villa a parfaitement répondu à nos besoins et au-delà. Elle est très bien située, dans un village à la fois paisible, authentique et près des principales attractions du Nord et du Centre. Les aires de vie, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, sont vastes, bien conçues et agréables. Les chambres, climatisées, sont confortables. La villa bénéficie d'un accès au littoral via un petit passage privé, parfait pour se tremper les pieds et se promener un petit peu plus loin sur la plage. La piscine a été le coup de coeur des petits, et est très bien sécurisée, pour la sérénité et le bonheur des parents. La présence rassurante et efficace de Farida et de Zaina au quotidien est d'une grande aide. Catherine a également été d'une grande gentillesse, notamment en nous aidant à arranger le transport à l'arrivée et la location d'une voiture. Die Highlights sind der Pool, der Garten sowie die sehr schön eingerichtete Terrasse. Die Inneneinrichtung ist etwas gediegen. Die Küche könnte ein wenig sauberer und aufgeräumter sein. Aber es sind viele Küchenutensilien vorhanden. Das Haus ist sehr gesichert und es gibt auch eine Alarmanlage. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin, Frau Wiehe erfolgte nur in französisch. Sie ist aber sehr freundlich und vor Ort konnte aber auch ein Gepräch in englisch geführt werden. Alles in Allem hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. ##### Ursula G. Superbe villa bien équipée ormis le lave vaisselle en panne lors de notre sejour. Toute lannonce etait conforme a ce que nous avons trouvés, la plage a 50 metres est magnifique. Farida la femme de ménage a fait un travail formidable lors de notre sejour, merci a elle. Mr Wiehe a ete tres accueillante et arrangeante en nous permettant de venir plus tot a la villa. Merci a elle. Je recommande cette villa pour des vacances en famille avec tranquillité. ##### David M. Nous étions 3 couples de la famille, nous sommes restés quelques jours au sud au Morne, quelques jours à Rodrigues et la fin du séjour au Cap Malheureux. La maison et son jardin sont magnifiques. La maison n'est pas directement sur la plage et un chemin privé donc avec clés permet d'accéder très rapidement à l'océan et là c'est magique. A marée basse on peut rejoindre par la plage la fameuse église. Nous avons passé un très beau dimanche en déjeunant sur la plage derrière l'église avec très bonnes grillades et musique 😍. ##### Bea M. La villa est conforme à sa description, magnifique, spacieuse et offre tout le confort nécessaire. L’accès privé à la plage/baie de Cap Malheureux est très appréciable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La villa est très agréable et très calme avec un accès direct à la petite plage. Les chambres ont chacune leur salle de bain privée. Farida et sa fille sont très discrètes et très serviables. Catherine a toujours répondu à nos demandes. Je recommande vivement :) Merci encore.... Je conseille vraiment cette location. La villa est très bien placée, à quelques pas de la plage et dans un environnement très calme. Aucun bruit aux alentours. Quatre chambres et quatre salles de bain très propres est agréables. La literie est très bonne, les clim et brasseurs d air fonctionnent bien. La piscine bien entretenue et de taille parfaite pour se rafraîchir dès le reveil. Farida la femme de ménage est très sympathique, et nous a concocté deux bons dîners. Aux alentours, de très bons restaurants et des plages de rêve.
