"Had a great time here. The back porch is so fun - amazing view, a resident singing mockingbird, and a deer and her fawn coming through for breakfast every morning. Super comfy beds. My only complaint is that the twin bed is not in an office like the listing says. The mattress is in one room and the bedframe is in another and the bedding is somewhere in a closet (never found the twin sheets among the dozens of linens). You have to assemble it all in the living room. I’d give it five stars if we knew that’s what we were getting."

"The room was clean and had everything we needed. The only real issue was operating the air conditioner. There seemed to be three settings: cool, heat, and dry. It was on "dry" when we arrived and it was very cold in the room. Changing the temperature setting did not make a difference. I tried switching to "cool" which did make it less frigid, but it also weirdly made the room feel more humid. We were never able to get it adjusted to a comfortable setting. During the night I changed it back to the "dry" setting to make things less humid, but despite setting the temperature setting to 72, when we got up in the morning the room temperature was actually at 55 degrees. Though the beds were comfortable, there just wasn't a heavy enough comforter or blanket to keep you warm and able to sleep."

"Just got home from 5 days at this property over the 4th of July weekend. We had a great stay! The owners sent over a crew to clean up/mow the yard and clean weeds out of the water on our check-in day which was so much appreciated! We brought our pontoon boat and tied it up along the wall which worked perfect for us. The channel is pretty shallow so took a couple times to figure out how to navigate it, but really didn’t have any issues once we did. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and my teenagers loved the separate house for their late night hangouts. My nephews were obsessed with the little tree frogs that hang out on the property! Overall a great experience!"

"The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. The room was comfortable. The bathroom floor was sticky making me think it had not been mopped recently. Black mold surrounded the grout in the shower. The hallway carpets throughout were filthy. Heavy, dark dirty stains were present; worst in front of the elevator."
