"Was quiet. Our room faced the lake. Should of brought some steaks as there was.a grill outside our room. Sat outside in the morning watching the birds and saw some deer. The room was really clean. Older but with character so lots of creaks but didn't mind. Would stay here again"

"This review is for our stay 6/11-6/15. This house was a good fit for our family of 5 and my parents and our 2 dogs. Plenty of space to spread out. The backyard was a huge hit for our dogs although there is no door directly from the house into the yard so you do have to walk the dogs on a leash to the gate. The ping pong table and Pac Man game were so fun and a nice touch. The location of the house is on a busy street but if you use a fan at night, the sound is minimal. Also the park across the street is really nice! A few things about the house to note: there is not a door to the downstairs so if you have an old dog (like us) or a small child who might fall down the stairs, you will need to block the doorway somehow (we used a large suitcase), there are a few hangars in each bedroom closet but there are not dressers to put anything away, the dining table seats only 4 but there are a few bar stools that can be used around it as well. We've fallen in love with Rapid City and would recommend this VRBO."

"This was the perfect home for multi generational vacationing! Grandparents in the master, parents and kids in the other bedrooms. The master bedroom was magical and had a very nice on suite. The additional bedrooms were simple and 2 additional bathrooms were very ideal. The deck and hot tub were an amazing finish to the rental. The home had everything we needed. From the kitchen appliances to the library downstairs, this home has it all! It rained most of our trip so the access to the garage was an extra bonus! We would absolutely stay here again if we travel through South Dakota again!"

"The cabin was clean and cozy, and the things we needed most were readily available. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. Hopefully, we can come back again and enjoy another time together. We were here for our brother's funeral, so there were a lot of things that needed our attention. It was so nice not to have to worry about anything else.In our large family, several of us grew up in our early years in the Canyon Lake area, so it was almost like being home again."
