I booked a stay for my husband and myself for our wedding anniversary to visit nearby Palo Duro canyon. The host was super friendly and helpful, we were surprised at how comfy and luxurious the boxcar was, I am not sure what I expected, but this blew everything out of the water. It was a fun experience and we are planning a return trip again soon. The dogs were friendly, sweet Allie made my day by hanging out with me on the back patio! Stay here if you can! Our kids were camping at the PD canyon and this was a perfect place where we could visit them each day. Entry to the park was 8 per day per adult but worth it! It’s 15 mins Take a right out of box car property for shorter distance to park. The dogs and horses were fun to meet. We were there mainly to shower and sleep (excellent sleep!)
