Then she had to fly back home & I was at the cabin solo. I was nervous about that but wound up thoroughly enjoying myself at the cabin & in the canyon. I felt completely secure there and enjoyed getting out to walk around the resort, watch the birds & wildlife & then woke 1 morning to a snowy blizzard. How exciting since I'm from Houston!! The sun rises were the 1st thing I got to feast my eyes upon every morning. It was disappointing to have to leave but I will return some day. But next time I will fly. WHEW!! What a drive! My wife and I stayed with our 14 year old granddaughter who slept on the fold out couch bed. Owner put up with several calls that were related to the gate codes and door locking. Those could be communicated to renters more clearly. The location is very scenic and peaceful. We sat on the patio to watch the Aoudads graze. It is a very comfortable place for 2 adults and two young kids.
