Things we got up to ..relaxing in the garden, BBQs by the pool, group breakfasts in the kitchen, cosy times in the living room and a lovely walk across the fields. We’d booked before my husband started using a wheelchair, and although it was a little tricky getting through one doorway and into the kitchen, Louise arranged for the downstairs twin bedroom to be turned into a superking bed which made things so much easier for us. The house is incredibly well equipped, clean, and the beds comfortable. The garden and pool was the real highlight. It’s a huge garden that would be wonderful for kids. We had some friends join us for the sunny last couple of days and we enjoyed the solar heated pool and even had dinner in the pool house. I book a long weekend in Canterbury each summer to visit friends in the area and usually spend ages finding a suitable property. Next year I won't even look - I'll go back to Stable Lodge. The property is comfortable, very spacious, had all the essentials and some extras thrown in for good measure. The garden is huge with lots of very comfortable garden furniture. The icing on the cake is the wonderful swimming pool and pool house. We were very lucky with the weather and spent many hours at or in the pool. Louise, the owner, is wonderful! From the first time I emailed her with questions to the time we said goodbye this morning, she was friendly, efficient, accommodating and more than happy to 'go the extra mile' to help whenever she could. Thank you Louise. We would have had a wonderful time in your lovely property anyway, but you made it so much better for us. Last word must go to Bentley, Louise's dog.
