Cannes nightmare

I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone. It became like dealing with Basil Fawlty via WhatsApp! Firstly I was told that an earlier check in would be ok only to have this changed on the day of arrival to be two hours later. The top of the toilet broke whilst I was using it (no I’m not a big person!) and when I notified the owner immediately they said they knew it was cracked before I got there but didn’t have time to fix it. This would have been good info to have, to be certain of my safety when using the loo. The washing machine flooded the floor of the bathroom. The springs of the bed could be felt through the mattress. It was not clear that there’s no wifi as the booking just stated to contact the owner directly for wifi details. When I returned the keys through the bathroom window just as the owner instructed me to after locking up, I received a very rude message stating that they could now not get inside! Give it a wide berth.
