Bathroom is renovated, and the kitchen well supplied. The balcony is a nice plus — does not get the sun but if you are comfortable in the shade it’s very pleasant. Location is a 10-min walk to the mid-Croisette area, and close to groceries, massage, hairdresser etc. It’s a longer walk to the Palais — 25 mins to walk and get inside to my event. Communication was good — check in was easy and they were very responsive when I had an issue with the electricity. It went out for a few hours during my stay and took a while to fix since the super was on a lunch break, but it did get fixed and was not an issue thereafter.Only one negative. About a week after I left I received photos from the management company accusing me of damage to the wall/stair area. They asked me to settle amicably, which I was of course willing to do, but I noted that I had no idea how it had happened — I didn’t carry anything up or down stairs to the sleeping mezzanine except myself, a book, and a glass of water. They got quite accusatory at that point which was very distressing — I’ve rented lots of properties over the years and always leave things clean and tidy. If anything has been damaged — a glass broken for example — I’ve always reported it and covered any cost. So to be accused of lying and not being willing to pay was just awful. I replied saying of course I was willing to settle to mutual satisfaction but heard nothing back. An upsetting end I’m afraid. ##### Stephanie B.
