Il est situé en plein coeur de la vieille ville, à l'entrée du marché provençal. Proche des plages, restaurants/pubs, musées, remparts... Une carte de stationnement au parking "Pré des pécheurs" sera fournie. Localisation rêvée ! L’appartement sera prêt et propre pour votre arrivée. \## Access MASTERLOCK et ARRIVEE AUTONOME : Notez bien qu'en cas d'arrivée autonome (tardif et/ou sans rdv disponible) la masterlock pour récupérer les clés se trouvent devant notre agence immobilière. Il est traversant, les chambres donnant rue Guillaumont et sont totalement au calme. En plein coeur de la vieille ville, vous avez toutes les activités autour de vous. Vous aimerez être au plein coeur de notre jolie ville d'Antibes. Le marché provençal est un incontournable pour goûter aux saveurs locales (épices, socca, légumes de la régions, tapenade...). Les boutiques souvenirs, les plages bien sûr, les jolies balades sur les remparts lors d'un feu d'artifice, le musée Picasso, le quai des milliardaires au port Vauban, le fort Carré. Il y en a pour tous les goûts, visuels et pour ceux qui aiment un bon repas ou tout simplement se balader.... Vous trouverez de nombreux bars/pubs tout autour du port et de nombreux restaurants... Juan les pins est à 5 min en voiture. Cannes est à 15-20 min. Nice et l'aéroport à 25 min. Pour Monaco et la frontière Italienne, compter 1h par l'autoroute. \## Transit Le port Vauban est à 400 m de l'appartement, vous pourrez stationner au parking privé Qpark " Pré des Pécheurs – Port Vauban". Il est très difficile de vous garer dans la vieille ville, et ce parking est le plus proche. Important : Des forfaits stationnement vous sont proposés si vous réservez via le site internet et leurs prix sont moins chers en pré-réservation. Every day I would walk through the market and greet all of the great people who work there. Coffee cafes are at the end. One of the staff, Houssam, walked me to the apartment when I arrived and pulled my luggage. I found a lovely boutique a block away called Goubi and spent happy hours there. The days in between were real holidays, and that‘s when the place is really amazing. Two steps from the market hall and close to lots of Restaurants and bars you can absolutely enjoy Antibes. The most convenient aspect (coming by car) is the car parking access for free that really made our days. No worries where to put the Van in the medieval heart of town 😎 ##### Christian M. Parking is not as close as we were told. The guy that lives downstairs is an angry troll. We were VERY quiet and he pounded on our door screaming in our face as soon as we open the door - that we were running around and walking too loud. We honestly were not. He then decided to play heavy metal music very loudly the rest of the weekend. Joke was on him and honestly proved our point as we could only hear the music when the apartment door was open. Really good location and with the bedrooms being at the back of the property it was quiet despite overlooking the market. The only issue we had with the stay was the strong smell from the drains - i dont know if this is common for Antibes. Pas de capsules de café (pas d'obligation mais qq unes en cadeau de bienvenue, ça fait toujours plaisir) Pas de lampes de chevets dans la petite chambre (compliqué quand on veut lire avant de s'endormir) Coin salon pas super cosy (canapé lit ferme et 3 petits tabourets... dur après une longue journée de marche) Remontées d'odeur d'égoûts dans la salle de bain (sûrement la faute de la veille ville) Literie limite (pour mon homme très grand et costaud - ce sont des choses qui arrivent - c’était limite) La liste n'est pas exhaustive mais je m'arrêterai là car quand on critique trop on se fait taxer de râleurs de français et le raccourci est trop facile... Pour finir sur une note positive j'ajouterai que la localisation est très sympa, idéale pour prendre un café le matin, un verre le soir, faire le marché etc... et la déco très mignonne et de bon goût ! No coffee capsules (at least some welcome gift, this is not an obligation but it is much appreciated) No bedside lamps in the small room (complicated when you want to read before falling asleep) Lounge area not super cozy (sofa bed and 3 small stools ... not very comfy) Escapes of smell of sewage in the bathroom after the shower (probably the fault of the old city!) Insufficient bedding quality (for my very tall and beefy man - sorry it happens - nights were bad) The list is not exhaustive but I will stop there because when we criticize too much we are taxed with French whines and the shortcut is too easy ... Great location, so amazing to be near the market, the old part of town is fascinating and full of little shops. A few points to note: 1) a few essentials were missing: tea towels to dry cutlery etc; perhaps a few more hangers would have been nice, and perhaps more towels- we only had one towel each - if one of us was washing our hair, there was nothing to dry it with. I think just a hand towel for each would have been nice. 2) would have been good for there to be some info about where to put the bins / recycling policy. we found out eventually but having this info to hand would be a nice touch. 4) also a note to say what capsules the coffee maker takes would have been good.
