Hotel is around 40 mins up a hill from the centre of Carcassone and public transport to get there isn’t good. There isn’t much around there so if you don’t have a car be prepared to get a lot of steps in. The room itself could do with a renovation.

It was a very central location and had a charming take on a period hotel modernisation. Lovely rooms and the best air con that allowed you to sleep all night.

Room was clean, breakfast was great (apart from the pod coffee machine not working very well), late check out at 12.00 was really helpful and staff were really friendly at the reception desk and at breakfast. The pool wasn’t open which was a shame as it was 26 degrees whilst we were there. I would definitely stay there again as it was so close to the medieval city.

"Hôtel bien mais notre séjour à été gâché par le manque de climatisation dans la chambre ( en panne). Donc nous avons très peu dormi à cause de la température. Aussi la description inclut une bouteille d’eau. Il n’y en avait pas et ce n’était pas disponible."
