"Nice hotel in a great location for our journey.. On the edge of a small village with a reasonable selection of bars and restaurants nearby.
Overall the hotel was very good, it could do with a lick of paint here and there but the reception and bar areas were very good.
Overall we would recommend. "

We arrived 1 day early (my bad!) however the lady who dealt with us was really lovely and she managed to sort out our stay. We were in all honesty pleasantly surprised by our room. It was modern, clean, very well decorated. The internet connection was super fast (better than our internet at home) we really enjoyed our stay there and would whole heartedly recommend this appartment to everyone. You also have the benefit of secure off street undergound parking along with a supermarket directly...

With the exception of an issue with breakfast (which should have been included FOC but we were charged for it at checkout; at the time of writing this is under investigation by Hotels.com), we could not fault the location, the property or its management. It is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very very minor point but there was no plugs for the kitchen sink - we did enquire but were told there weren't any.

As experienced in late March 2015 at a very good rate of €80 inc breakfast.
Very nice location & surroundings - it was a palace for Charles I (of Spain).
Excellent room with very comfortable twin beds (close together for intimacy, if you want it!) and beautiful bathroom.
Bathroom let down by the shower as the glass screen on edge of bath was inadequate to prevent water on the floor.
Machinery type "hum" in our room was occasionally slightly intrusive at night - couldn't find the source and...

I stayed for business trip and the staff were very welcoming and helpful to me from when I arrived. My Spanish is not great but were always helpful to try and help or accommodate me. Breakfast was good and the evening buffet meals had variety of choice. Many of the guests clearly visit for the pool and spa facilities, as well as hiking trials and cycling routes in the area. I did not have time for this but had an enjoyable stay and would return due to the practical location and friendly staff.
