General information Although you can visit many places by bus, it is advisable to rent a car if you want to visit the entire island. Prices are advantageous compared to other countries. At the airport, there are various rental companies that offer excellent service. Reservation is advisable. Keep in mind that the weather in Tenerife depends on the region. Candelaria has a very mild climate all year round because of its location in a bay. The months from January to March can be rainier. Always take a polar and / or waxed jacket with you when you leave Candelaria. On top of the Teide, it is cold, even in the middle of the summer and La Laguna, only 20 km away from Candelaria, temperatures can be 10 degrees lower.

Condo was large, spacious. Located on a hillside with beautiful views. Was not within easy walking distance of ocean, shops restaurants. A car is definitely an advantage.
Climate is wonderful, warm but not hot, and not humid.
Ive already reviewed in past and returned so that says it all . Excellent coms from Nadine always nice sorts any problem out for you . Its a good base to explore from i would not hesitate to return . Thanx Nadine :)

We stayed here for the first time 10/2019 and came back in 10/2022. Without Corona danger, we would have already come to Tenerife and here again in 2020 and 2021, also... We were very happy about the appartment, again. If you are interested, please look in our evaluation from 2019. But having stayed here, again, is the best reference, we think :-)

Perfect stay
We arrived very late, at midnight, but were taken against Theres who faithfully waited for us. Thank you very much Theres.
The apartment we have had pleasure in 14 days fully meet our expectations. Everything was very clean and all facilities seemed perfect. Despite location quite close to a highway we have was not at all bothered by noise or odor. And the terrace is just a winner. Really big with a super nice view with bright sunshine from morning to evening.
We have visited Tenerife on several occasions and unlike the southern part of the island, aera where the apartment is located is far less dominated by tourism. A couple of good restaurants in the vicinity or La Laguna is round the corner with lot of them. An only disappointment was a lack of good beach nearby. On another hand there is a really nice beach in Los Anders behind Santa Cruz.
Overall summary we had a lovely holiday in the authentic part of Tenerife.Thanks Nadine & Alain
Clean, well-equipped apartment with nice sea-views
We spent a lovely two weeks here in north Tenerife. The apartment has all the conveniences you could want (with the exception of a toaster, but that was not a priority for us), a lovely sun terrace and hammock, easy access to the nearby supermarket and a nice café, great WiFi and a delightful large pool behind the building. The owners are extremely helpful and prompt in answering queries. The black sand beaches are about a 15 minute walk away, and there are quite a few restaurants just opposite them. The waves are gentle there thanks to some strategically placed lines of boulders, so no worries if you have small kids. Parking in the garage below the apartment is very convenient. It can be a bit of a challenge if you have a large vehicle, though still do-able. The neighborhood is generally quiet, even though you might hear some occasional music from one of the hotels down the road, which has an outdoor bar. Highly recommend going on one of the whale watching tours (we used Biosean) and/or doing an astronomy evening up on Mt Teide.
We (2 persons) found the apartment in perfect clean condition and stayed 10 nights. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including washing maschine, dish washer, towels, hair dryer, flat iron and ironing table. All stuff inside the apartment is of good quality and there is plenty of space in the 3 wardrobes. The bathroom looks brandnew and the kitchen is also equipped with everything you need. Nadine is a very friendly host. It is a pleasure to have an individual parking space in the underground parking lot - however this space is small so that a VW Golf is the largest car you can park there in case the surrounding spaces are occupied by other cars. The roof terrace is good for 20 persons :-) so fine for any number of persons living there. The apartment has beds for at most 6 persons (adult bedroom =2 in one large bed. guest bedroom = 4 individual beds). I would recommend it for max 4 adults OR max 5 persons when at least 2 of them are kids. We already recommended the apartment to friends who plan to visit Tenerife.

Great stay
This was a lovely apartment that met all our needs. The primary selling point is a fantastic roof terrace for your sole use that really is as big as it looks in the photos, with a decent view down to the seafront.
We used the main bedroom and one of the bunk beds in the smaller room and both were comfortable. All the other facilities like bathroom and kitchen were as you would expect. The swimming pool was a bit too cold for me but there were loungers there if you wanted to have a lazy day.
The apartment is in a block at the top of a steep hill. My one reservation would be for anyone who has trouble with mobility, as they may wish to hire a car or use taxis. We used the public bus system with the BONO card to visit Santa Cruz and other attractions nearby but again a car would be useful if you want to strike further afield. I was worried that the apartment was close to the autopista but was pleasantly surprised to hear very little noise and felt no pollution.
We did not find many restaurants close nearby. Instead we walked down and south towards Candelaria, via a pleasant seafront stroll, to find a good selection. There is a good size Mercadona supermarket quite close.
Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher noch einmal dorthin fahren.
Schöner Meerblick und die große Terasse haben uns am besten gefallen und auch die vollausgestattete Küche hat uns das kochen leicht gemacht.
Die Restaurants in der Nähe haben aber auch eine durchweg solide Küche.
Obwohl wir ja selbst Touristen waren war es trotzdem einmal schön in einem weniger Touristischen Ort zu sein.
Bel appartement confortable, complet et très bien aménagé. Conforme à l'annonce. Il ne manquait que des volets pour que ça soit parfait mais ce n'est qu'un petit détail dû à nos habitudes de Français 😆.Très jolie vue sur mer depuis une grande terrasse. La piscine est superbe.
Supermarché à côté. Plages aussi sauf que plages de cailloux donc impossible de s'y baigner sans chaussures adaptées. Peu d'animation le soir, endroit tranquille.
Bien placé pour découvrir l'est et le nord de Tenerife, dont le massif de l'Anaga.
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable.

Laut und schön!
Das Penthouse selbst war schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Vor allem die Terrasse haben wir fast immer bereits zum Sonnenaufgang und auch zum Abendessen genutzt und genossen. Schade nur die vielen störenden Geräusche bzw. der Lärm auch in den Nachstunden durch Hundegebell, Katzengejaule und lauten Motorrädern durch die Calle Taunus. Die durch die nahe Autopista entstehenden Fahrgeräusche störten dagegen kaum - dafür schon mehr der Baulärm tagsüber an den -gottseidank wenigen- Arbeitstagen, wo wir nicht mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs waren. Tiefgaragenplatz war genauso top wie der nahe Supermercado, der uns zu 100 % zufrieden stellte.
Wir sind zwar absolut keine Poolgänger oder -benutzer, aber im Hinblick auf andere Gäste mit diesen Wünschen hätte zumindest so weit im Vorwege wie möglich darauf hingewiesen werden müssen, dass dieser nicht nutzbar sein wird. Denn das wäre dann für diese Gäste ja ein entscheidender Mangel.
In unserem Falle hatte die Vermieterin da ja für 5 Wochen Glück, zumal wir die Wohnung -wie wir es immer handhaben und für selbstverständlich halten- in einem noch saubereren Zustand als wie wir es vorfanden wieder hinterlassen haben.
Éloignée du tourisme dee masse de la Côte sud, Las calellinas est une station balnéaire familiale calme. Les plages équipées de brise lames sont à 10 minutes à pied. Le snorkelling y est également possible. Au mois de février nous avons trouvé l'eau de mer à 20 degrés, des températures douces et bien sûr le soleil. La proximité de l'autoroute est un avantage pour partir visiter et ne génère aucune gêne sur la terrasse et dans l'appartement. Les literies sont très confortables, la cuisine bien équipée. La terrasse est très spacieuse et ensoleillée à tout moment. Le parking évite d'avoir à chercher une place dans la rue. Nous espérons revenir.

Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt!
Nur der in der Apt.-Beschreibung aufgeführte Wäschetrockner fehlte. Allerdings trocknet die Wäsche wunderbar auf der schönen Dachterrasse, wenn's gerade nicht von der Baustelle herüberstaubt...
Die Beschreibung "Kabel-TV" ist etwas missverständlich! Man kann einige Programme empfangen, davon die meisten in spanisch, einige auch in englischer und franz. Sprache.
Möchte man deutsches Fernsehen schauen, kann man lediglich auf ein sehr beschränktes Angebot in den Mediatheken zurückgreifen.
Das komplette Angebot aus den Mediatheken erhält man nur mittels eines Adapters, den man sich dann bei Bedarf selbst kaufen muss - 34 Euro bei MediaMarkt in Sta. Cruz!
Der uns empfohlene Anschluss funktionierte dann allerdings trotzdem nicht, also Rückgabe an MediaMarkt!
Zwei Tage vor unserem Urlaubsbeginn wurden wir informiert, dass der Pool während der Zeit unseres Aufenthalts renoviert werden würde und uns somit nicht zur Verfügung stünde. Dafür erstattete die Vermieterin uns einen Nachlass.
Die enorme Geräusch- und Staubbelastung durch die tgl. Bauarbeiten (8 bis 16 Uhr) waren allerdings schon sehr beeinträchtigend während 3/4 der Zeit unseres Gesamtaufenthalts.
Auf diesen ziemlich am Anfang unseres Urlaubs reklamierten Mangel ging die Vermieterin nur in soweit ein, als dass sie von den Bauarbeiten selbst erst sehr kurzfristig erfahren hätte!? Damit war dieses Thema dann für sie auch erledigt...
Wir haben uns gewundert, dass die Wohnung unter diesen Umständen trotzdem vermietet wurde!
Ferner gab es in der Wohnung ein Ungeziefer-Problem, was aber schnell und professionell durch ein entspr. Unternehmen beseitigt wurde, nachdem wir es gemeldet hatten.
Der Ort Las Caletillas mit der langen Strandpromenade und zahlreichen Restaurants ist sehr schön für ein Abendessen und einen ausgiebigen Spaziergang am Meer. Es gibt auch div. kl. Badestrände.
Insgesamt hatten wir trotz alledem einen schönen Urlaub!

The apartment is very well equipped and clean. Very central location to explore the island. The off-street parking was very helpful. Overall we are very happy!
Schöne, gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit schöner Aussicht
Eine schöne Wohnung in der Nähe von Santa Cruz. Sehr gut ausgestattet! In der Küche ist wirklich alles mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Terrasse mit Meerblick haben wir gerne genutzt. Parkplatz recht eng. großer Supermarkt ganz in der Nähe. Hat uns gut gefallen, vielen Dank!
Wohnung mit großer Dachterrasse und herrlichem Ausblick
Wir haben 10 Tage in Las Caletillas verbracht. Der Ort bietet alles was man braucht. Supermärkte in Fußentfernung und eine Strandpromenade (10min zu Fuß) mit zahlreichen Cafes und Restaurants. Die beiden Strände sind eher klein, der Ort ist kein typischer Touriort zum Baden. Wir haben mit unserem Mietwagen Ausflüge ins Anaga Gebirge und in die Canadas gemacht. Nach Santa Cruz ist es auch nicht weit. Die Wohnung ist top eingerichtet. Ein Pool steht zur Verfügung, den unsere Söhne nach den Wanderungen gerne genutzt haben. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr unkompliziert. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen!
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement très bien équipé. Situé dans une rue calme, nous avons pu profiter de la grande terrasse pour des déjeuners ensoleillés et des dîners paisibles.

Muy buena terraza
Cuando llegamos había "restos" en el WC, las cucarachas campan a sus anchas... Avisamos a la anfitriona que llegábamos a las 16h y hasta las 21h no se puso en contacto con nosotros cuando la escribimos nada más llegar para que se pusiera en contacto con nosotros. Pretende que el último inquilino deje listo el apartamento para el próximo... por esto, tres días después de dejar el piso, me empezó a enviar WhatsApp reprochando que habíamos dejado el piso en un estado lamentable y que me iba a cobrar la fianza... al final la bloquee en WhatsApp. De coña! Somos una familia con un niño y no chavales con ganas de juergas. Las juergas las que se corrían los vecinos del piso contiguo cada noche, pero eso ,entiendo, no es culpa del anfitrión.
Die Wohnung gefällt ist uns jedes mal sehr gut, da sie gut ausgestattet ist, über eine traumhafte Dachterrasse verfügt, ein Swimmingpool benutzt werden kann und einen notwendigen Tiefgaragenplatz hat. Nadine ist als Gastgeberin sehr fürsorglich und bei Unannehmlichkeiten sehr kulant. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.
