Outside, around the house, a beautiful walled garden of 300m2 with south-west facing terrace in the heart of a preserved environment and typical of the Emerald Coast combining greenery and stone, a parking space for three four cars. In height behind the house and accessible by a staircase, a beautiful orchard of 800m2 planted with hazel, apple, plum, fig tree and other fruit trees. On the ground floor, an open kitchen, a dining room, a living room around a beautiful stone fireplace, a bathroom with toilet, exposed beams. Upstairs, three bedrooms, two with double bed (possibility to add a cot on request) and one with four bunk beds, a bathroom with toilet, exposed beams. The house is located down a long country road with a couple of other secluded houses there as well. Really remote feeling although we’re only less than a 10min from Cancale centre, if you have bikes this place would be perfect. The coast and beaches are around 2miles away by road and 30 mins from St Malo. We were a group of 3 adults and 2 kids, grandmother, parents and 2 11 year old boys. Lots outside to occupy them, including a nice orchard with a separate field at the end with some horses. The house was great, the host was responsive and communicative all through Vrbo and was really attentive and gives plenty of details about the house. The only reason I’d not give a 5 star (I’d rate this 4.5 if I could!) was that the windows had a lot of mold around the frames, and I understand this is an old house with single frame windows, the rest of the house was spotless and lovely to relax in on their 2 big sofas. Overall superb house and a superb host made this one where we would come back and stay again next year for sure! ##### Daniel S. Het huis is fantastisch gelegen als je van de rust en de kalmte houd, je hoort er enkel de vogeltjes kwetteren. Het huis is ruim en goed onderhouden en alles wat je nodig hebt om de vakantie aangenaam te maken is aanwezig. Wij vinden wel (dames van boven de 60) dat je een auto nodig hebt om boodschappen te doen of naar het strand te gaan. Ik heb een poging gedaan om te voet langs de achterkant naar het strand te gaan maar ik kwam uit op een grote weg en wist dan niet meer hoe ik verder moest. La maison se trouve légèrement à l’écart du centre de Cancale la rendant vraiment paisible. Tous les équipements sont fonctionnels et il ne manque de rien. Je recommande ! ##### Louis M. Une jolie décoration pour ce gîte qui a accueilli nos vacances en famille. Le jardin clos et la terrasse sont très appréciables. Cancale et les commerces sont très proches en voiture.
