It was ok... but wouldn't stay again.

Posted 14-Jan-2017
We stayed in room 44 and the aircon smells like pee. I don't think the walls are sound proof as we can hear people talking really loudy in the morning which means no sleep in :( We didn't have a no disturb sign in the room so the house keeper was knocking on our door :( And we had two knifes in our room so we couldn't eat my 2 min noodles at night :( The only good thing about this hotel were the staff members. They are really nice and helpful!! I think with abit of renovation, this hotel would be quite nice :)

Not what I expected

Posted 12-Jan-2017
Cons: Air quality
Location: Canberra is small, this place is easy walking distance to parliament and a shopping mall
We stayed for one night in this hotel, which is ok, it not meeting my expectation. The actual apartment room uses a different car entrance so we had to reload our luggage after checking in and drove to a different gate. The room looks clean, but there is a VERY unpleasant smell. Also the privacy in the bathroom is not very good when I shower. Overall, I found the photos online to be deceiving.

Posted 31-Dec-2016
Pros: Location, but this is a motel nothing like a hotel in European standards
Cons: Customers need to know this is not a hotel
Staff and owners very good ,breakfast very good, location in th middle of tourist attractions, but a short bus drive from city centre . Location very rural and peaceful, small village centre short walk away but with many bars, shops and restaurants and large supermarket ,excellent location within a short walking distance

Good location

Staff very helpful. Central location. Apartment well laid out. Only problems were beds a bit too hard, and neighbours were inconsiderate - slamming doors.

Excellent value

Posted 14-Nov-2016
Location: Close to Parliament House and within a short drive to most attractions.
The apartment had obviously been recently renovated. All facilities were excellent and included a washing/dryer machine and dishwasher. Close to all attractions and amenities.

Nice apartment in quiet location

Posted 08-Nov-2016
Pros: Good quiet location, self contained apartment with cooking and dining facilities.
Cons: Make sure room is mosquito free.
Location: Located within walking distance of Manuka shopping centre.
We stayed one night in a 1 bedroom apartment in this hotel. It was located conveniently close to where we wanted to go the next day. Check-in was smooth and friendly. Apartment was clean and in good condition with all the expected amenities as advertised during booking. There was a good selection of good quality TV channels to select from. The only issue that prevented an excellent rating was there were many mosquitoes in the main room that had to be got rid off before we could be at peace to not be bitten and so enjoy the apartment. They must have entered when the apartment door was left open earlier before we arrived. I discovered later there was an insect spray in the undersink kitchen cupboard - which may have been an indication this was a known issue. If so, the staff should have advised during check-in. Overall a good experience.

Well located hotel in Canberra

Posted 06-Nov-2016
Location: The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to many attractions and two good shopping centers, Manuka and Kingston, with many restaurants.
This hotel is clean with good facilities. It has pleasant, although it has been a while since it was renovated. we thought the hotel was good value for money. The main attraction of the hotel was its location.

Excellent Price, staff and location

Posted 02-Nov-2016
Location: Close to evrything, house of parliament, shopping centre groceries
Good location yet very affordable. Most of other hotel's amenities or complimentaries is also available here. Shower gel smells good unlike other hotels that it does not even have smell. Staff are very friendly too.

Pros: Comfortable bed, table with two chairs, and lots of accessible power points. I counted ten!
Cons: Drawers were difficult to open and close.
Location: Good location, not far from many of Canberra's attractions. Supermarket, restaurants and shops within walking distance.
We stayed here for one night and were more than happy with our compact room. The bathroom has the basics - shower, sink, toilet and looks to be recently upgraded. The room is rather compact, but does have all the basics. Comfortable bed, table with two chairs, and more power points than I've seen in many expensive properties. Tea & coffee making, toaster and fridge provided. Some of the fittings in the room could do with an upgrade, but they all work.
