It was an easy Check-In. The room was good to access and exceeded our expectations.

Ideal location

Pros: Clean, tidy & conveniently located.
A pleasantly surprising motel, very clean and well presented. It is located in a quiet street and offers great access to to plenty of local tourist sites. Excellent staff who do their best to look after their customers.

Needs upgrade. Air conditioning needs to be cleaned badly. Carpeting needs to be changed or cleaned.

Was amazing, the staff were friendly Spent the New Years there and have no regrets Bed was sooooo comfy :) Was happy with everything so clean as well. The staff had also organised a paper for us on things that was on the New Year's Eve night like events and stuff and what restaurants was open, was perfect they were pretty helpful. I really have nothing negative to say

The rooms are super outdated with tiny bathrooms and not particularly clean or comfortable. Even for the 'sale price' this place is not worth staying at. Our night was made far worse by the super bright light coming in from the balcony, and the violent domestic happening outside, which although wasn't the fault of the hotel, wasn't cool.

Friendly staff

Pros: Proximity to town.
Cons: Tiling in bathroom, toilet seat was wonky.
Location: All quite good.
Comfy beds, close to town, restaurant with good food and a delightful outlook across the park.

Very small room

Posted 28-Nov-2017
Pros: The bed was comfortable to sleep. In
Items rolled off main bench in the room. Also the bathroom shelf, I had to fix myself with folded tissues adjusting the brackets. $200+ per nigh and there was Barely room to move around the bed. Maybe ok for one person but impossible for two people to move around comfortably.

Pros: Good facilities in the rooms.
Cons: Asked to have our 2 rooms next to each other which they weren't.
Location: Great location. Easy walk to Manuka shops
Clean comfortable rooms. Staff ok although not overly interested when we told them we had a problem with the bathroom flooding when we were showering.

Don't stay here if you want some quiet time away!!

Pros: The Restaurant was nice
Cons: The hotel side is an older part, so I don't know what could be improved.
Location: The nearest shops are in Manuka, there is a bus that goes past the hotel, The Serbian Church is something to see inside was hand painted.
We booked in for 2 nights on 8/11 but we only stayed 1 night and left. We had room 25, this room is located on the ground floor right in front of stairs leading up to the 1st floor, The room was ok, the bed was comfortable to sit on,we were tired and hungry and so had dinner in the restaurant which was nice. We went back to the room and watched tv and you could hear people having a chat outside of our room before they went up stairs. We went to sleep about 11 and we were about to drop off to sleep when someone went upstairs and into the room above us and they went into the bathroom and you could hear them going to the toilet, my partner and I couldn't believe it, then you could hear the person walking around. It was probably the worst night sleep we had. We had breakfast in Dickson and went to Cockington Green and we made the decision to not stay another night, my partner had a sore back from the bed and we didn't want to stay in a noisy room especially when you can hear what a person is doing on or in the toilet above you. We told reception when we checked out why we were leaving, we were asked if we wanted to have a look at another room by Management and stay in there but we declined as all we wanted to do was go home as our time had already been spoilt.
