Believe the other positive guest reviews - The Lake House is exceptional in every way! Traveling with our dog couldn’t have been easier. Except for the pool, we took the dog everywhere including the outdoor dining areas at both restaurants. Staff is attentive and incredibly friendly. Easy walk to off-site pubs, pizza, ice cream etc. Gorgeous lake views. We were so happy to find this beautiful hotel and will return whenever we can.

Beautiful property with views of the lake and several fire lots and beautiful landscaping. The staff very helpful and The Rose was a great experience with delicious food. Ate there 3 times in our 4 night stay. Fletcher was great with day trip ideas and Meghan was a pleasure to talk with and made great drinks. Our new waitress, Ronnie, was also delightful and everyone made our stay special. We will be back.

Just an all around stunning stay. You have to try the cottage suite and also the barrel sauna!!! Snacks at the Sand Bar, soaking in the sun in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the lake with a beautiful glass of anything cold! Nightly smores and fire pits. The vibe is so incredible now here. A must stay if you want an escape on a luxurious scale! Will not disappoint I guarantee!!

Beautiful property with great things to do...kayaking, paddle boards, pedal boats, swimming, hot tub, bikes, spa, lakeside saunas, restaurants, pub. So much fun!

Property is beautiful and is well maintained. Plenty to do on site including kayaks, pool, boating and exploring the grounds. Food options were very good although had a bad dinner with slow service at sand Bar. Rooms are well equipped however pocket doors were very heavy, shower head was way too strong and should have soap dispensers above both sinks not just one

The grounds and the restaurants are beautiful. Our room in the main bldg, 3rd floor was not as nice as I thought it might be or hoped it to be. It was clean but antiquated. We were not able to control the upper air vent, the low mode made it chilly. Additionally, one of our sinks had a very slow drain. In conclusion, the price we paid should have reflected more!

The Lake House is amazing! Beautifully kept grounds, a super friendly and helpful staff and so many things to do. We loved the bikes, kayaks and sauna rooms. Our room overlooking the canal was so perfect. I will definitely be returning!!

Send time visiting and did not dissapoint. Beautiful property. Spacious and well maintained rooms. Very clean and love the special touches. Meticulous landscaping. Love the pool service and onsite restaurants! If I were to point anything out I would say they could use an upgrade in the shower heads in the bathrooms. They were pretty subpar. I would also think they should have an area to use the lake itself. It’s strange to be on. Lake property and not be able to float or swim in it. They should use The Sagamore as a template for building amenities.
