From the garden in front of the house, climbing a staircase leads to the upper garden where there is the 4.30x8.50 m swimming pool equipped with sun beds and deck chairs for sunbathing, and where the view of the coast below is truly unique. The villa to which the Gardenia apartment belongs is situated halfway up the hill facing the sea between Bordighera and Montecarlo, ideally located for planning beautiful walks from Menton to Saint Tropez on the blue coast, and from Ventimiglia to Alassio on the Italian coast. Also you can visit the enchanting Ligurian villages, such as Dolceacqua, Apricale, Perinaldo, Baiardo, and where you can taste the typical Ligurian foods in the many typical restaurants. In short, a corner of paradise where you can enjoy a well-deserved vacation. And for those who want to spend a relaxing holiday, you can feel comfortable in the garden around the swimming pool, from which you can enjoy an enchanting view of the French coast to Cap D'Antibes. Dies hat uns aufgrund der Beschreibung und der Bilder sofort gefallen. Vor Ort hat sich dann unser erster Eindruck mehr als bestätigt. Das Anwesen befindet sich in einer absoluten Top-Lage und hält, was es spricht. Die Wohnung "Magnolia" ist komplett ausgestattet, und es fehlt an nichts. Alles war sauber und auch das Bett war sehr bequem. Die gesamte Anlage ist top gepflegt. Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und haben immer gute Tipps bezüglich Strände, Restaurants, etc. Alles in allem war es ein super Urlaub. Weiterempfehlung: 100%. Wir kommen sicher mal wieder! It's a great location where you can visit both parts of the coast, the italian and the french, within day trips... the view is fantastic from up there. And it's good for family's. We stayed there with our 6 months old daughter, and we could put a (provided) baby bed in our spacious apartment. Furthermore Guisi and her husband are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Unsere Wohnung war sehr sauber und die Küche war mit ausreichend Besteck und Geschirr bestückt. Zum Grillen steht ein Weber-Grill zur Verfügung. Die Pool-Area war ebenfalls sehr sauber und hübsch angelegt. Die Besitzer sind sehr auf das Wohl ihrer Gäste bedacht und haben immer gute Tipps für ein gutes Restaurant oder die schönsten Strände. Wij komen al een aantal jaren hier omdat het in 1 woord super is. De ontvangst is altijd hartelijk en de eigenaren zorgen ervoor dat het je aan niets ontbreekt zodat je echt alleen maar van je vakantie hoeft te genieten. De huizen zijn heel compleet en in het echt nog mooier dan op de foto en zijn van alle gemakken voorzien, aan alles is gedacht. Vanaf je eigen terras hebben alle huizen een heel mooi uitzicht op zee. Alles is heel schoon en zeer goed onderhouden, de tuin is prachtig en als je geen zin hebt om naar het strand te gaan dan neem je een duik in het mooie zwembad van waaruit je een geweldig uitzicht hebt op Menton en Monte carlo. Kies je wel voor het ( kiezel ) strand dan kun je bedjes huren voor 5 euro per dag, lekker comfortabel. Geen zin om naar het strand te gaan? Maak dan leuke uitstapjes naar Menton, Monte carlo, San Remo of naar de parfum stad Grass waar je je eigen parfum kunt maken. Als je zelf wilt koken kun je je helemaal uitleven in de keuken waar alles aanwezig is, ook heeft elk huis zijn eigen Weber BBQ. Inkopen kun je doen is de grote supermarkten maar het is een aanrader om eens handgemaakte pasta te halen in de ïndoor"markt in Ventimiglia hier kun je ook het lekkerste fruit, groenten en vis halen. Ga je liever uit eten, vraag dan aan de eigenaren waar je het beste heen kan gaan. Zij weten de beste restaurants in de buurt waar je voor weinig geld fantastisch kunt eten, top kwaliteit!!!. Door het zachte klimaat is deze locatie ook geschikt voor vakantie,s buiten de zomer. Wij zijn eens in januari geweest en bij een temperatuur van 17 graden kun je al heerlijk op een terrasje zitten in de zon en genieten van een heerlijk drankje. Ik raad deze huizen aan aan iedereen die heen top vakantie wil. Wij hebben in ieder geval alweer besproken voor volgend jaar want we willen niet riskeren dat alles is volgeboekt Arrivederci tot volgend jaar, maar eerst gaan we in oktober nog even een paar dagen. ##### Anna V. I was here the first time in 2012, and I've been coming back with my family every summer since. I've been renting houses and apartments for summer holiday in this region for over ten years and this is just perfect. The apartments are beautifully built and equipped with everything you need. Everything is perfectly clean and tidy and the beautiful gardens outside are meticulously taken care of. From the terrass outside the apartment you enjoy views of the whole coastline, the last bit of Italy, Monaco and France, in clear weather all the way to St Tropez. The location is perfect, the beaches are a few minutes drive away as well as the amazing food market in Ventimiglia and one of Italy's best wine shops: Enoteca Re in beautiful Dolceacqua. Or if you feel like a day at home, the pool area is brilliant and has even better views of the sea and the coast. Our hosts Giusi and Sestilio takes perfect care of you, incredibly friendly and helpful, and if you're really lucky Sestilio brings you a basket of fresh vegetables, herbs and salads from his gardens... It really feels like you're staying with good friends. We're already looking forward to our next visit! ##### Linus F. What we found was a little oasis on a hill that allows an astonishing view over the Italian coast and the coast of Monaco. The apartments are fully equipped with high quality materials. The area around the pool is just a dream. Sitting in the sun and overlooking this beautiful scenery, while cooling of in the pool is just phenomenal. Also all you need is easily accessible. Supermarkets and Restaurants are near by. destinations like Monaco, Nice, Cannes or Sanremo can be reached within 45 minutes. But having a car is necessary. Thanks to the wonderful hosts Guisi and Sestilio who were very welcoming and helpful. We are looking forward to come back and relax. ##### Florian B. Na onze 1e selectie qua accomodatie leg je vervolgens email-contact met de eigenaar. En dat verliep al vanaf het 1e moment primá met eigenaresse Giusi. Directe reacties die ook zeer duidelijk waren. En dan de reis en het verblijf. Eigenlijk is het appartementencomplex nóg mooier dan de foto's tonen. Zowel binnen als buiten is alles perfect georganiseerd, ingericht en onderhouden. En de hartelijke ontvangst met een heerlijke fles gekoelde Prosecco is natuurlijk een prima begin. Het appartement is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, mooi ruim en met een adembenemend uitzicht. Ook het zwembad is meer dan prima en het uitzicht is hier nóg mooier! Maar wat verder opvalt is de absolute charme en vriendelijkheid van de eigenaren. Variërend van het voor ons reserveren van een heerlijk restaurant in Pigna tot het verrassen met een fantastische Ice-Coffee....meegenomen bij een ijscozaak in de buurt terwijl we op de ligbedden aan het genieten waren van de warmte en als gezegd het uitzicht. Overigens ligt de woning in de buurt van leuke plaatsen en steden. Ga absoluut naar DolceAcqua....15 minuutjes rijden en rijd daarna door naar Pigna. Of bezoek SanRemo op nog geen 30 auto minuten. Bordighera en Ventimiglia zijn ook de moeite waard. Ëen ding; we hebben het over een adembenemend uitzicht vanaf het appartement, maar dat kan alleen doordat dit complex hoger in de heuvels ligt. De 1e keer moet je even wennen aan het draaien de heuvel op, maar dat went gauw. Kortom, een méér dan absolute aanrader als je van comfort, een fantastisch uitzicht, voor een goede prijs bij een uitermate vriendelijke en gastvrije familie houdt. Wij gaan zéker een keer terug!!! This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Claudia H. 29 Aug 2012 #### Kleines Paradies in Ligurien Wunderschöne, ruhige Anlage auf einem Hügel in Camporosso mit Blick auf das offene Meer, Ventimiglia, Menton u. Monaco. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Villen. Sauber u. gepflegt. Pool, Garten u. Außengestaltung = 1 A! Vermieter sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit u. die Kommunikation in Englisch oder Französisch war kein Problem. Entfernung zu den Stränden nach Ventimiglia, Bordighera bzw Cap Martin zwischen 10 und 30 Minuten. Ausflugsziele ins Landesinnere z.B. nach Taggia oder Triora auf alle Fälle empfehlenswert. Genauso empfehlenswert sind die Ausflüge nach Monaco, Cannes bzw. Nizza. Gute Restaurants in der Nähe z.B. Dolceaqua - Restaurant Zafferano, bzw. Camporosso - Pizzeria Billabong (direkt am Strand) Anlage für Familien genauso wie für Paar geeignet. WIr würden es allen unseren Freunden usw empfehlen, die gerne einen schönen Urlaub in einem schönen Domizil in Ligurien verbringen möchten. Danke an Giusi u.ihren Mann. Claudia u.
