This area is the heart of Campolongo, offering easy access to local amenities and a genuine feel for the town. You'll find a selection of local shops, traditional eateries, and the parish church, Santa Maria Assunta, all within a short stroll. The layout is compact and walkable, making it convenient to explore on foot.

Couples looking for a relaxing and authentic Italian experience will find this area particularly appealing. Staying here allows you to enjoy leisurely evenings at local restaurants, sampling regional cuisine and wines, and to easily access nearby walking paths or cycling routes for day excursions into the Veneto countryside.

For travellers seeking a bit more seclusion while still being close to the town's offerings, the areas just outside the very centre, perhaps a short drive or a 15-minute walk, can offer properties with more space and scenic views of the surrounding vineyards and hills.

The best time to visit Campolongo is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and sunny, great for outdoor activities.

This period offers consistent pleasant weather, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C. The days are long, allowing for extended exploration of the Dolomites, and the mountain paths are generally clear of snow, making hiking and cycling more accessible.

For couples looking for an active holiday, this is ideal. You'll find plenty of opportunities for hiking through scenic trails, enjoying al fresco dining, and participating in local summer festivals. The lifts are fully operational, providing easy access to higher altitudes for breathtaking views and more challenging treks.

Families will also find summer a fantastic time to visit. The warm weather is great for children to enjoy outdoor play, and many hotels and resorts offer activities geared towards younger guests.
