Place was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating, working with me when i needed to extend my stay. I would recommend this great little place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.
The tiny house was wonderful! It was everything we could want in a tiny house, and the ducks were the highlight of our mornings. We met the owner, Jeff, and he was a pleasure to talk to and made some excellent recommendations for where to grab a meal.
What a perfectly appointed little getaway! I went away alone, and this was such a perfect spot. The tiny house has everything you need- including incredible views! I didn't need a thing. It happened to snow while I was visiting, and it made everything even more peaceful somehow. Hosts were wonderful- great communication and of much help!
This tiny house was the cutest place ever. Everything was so clean and bright. And the host cheryl was wonderful. We spoke with her such nice people. We will be staying again when we come snd vist friends.
Cabin was very clean and had everything you could ask for. Peaceful place just to unwind and sit outside overseeing the water and watching the sun go down.
We have stayed at this property many times and are always happy! Love the remodeling since we last stayed with the view of the lake and deer crossing nearly every morning
As our first time being together to grow our relationship, this tiny house was amazing. From being secluded to amazing views of scenery. Everything was clean and we felt secure being there.
We stayed at this cute tiny home while in town for a family wedding. It was so clean, modern, and cozy! Very hospitable and if we are in the area again, we will definitely be staying here :)
I chose to stay at Tiny House at Uproot Farms because of the wonderful reviews and it did not disappoint. The place is as cute as can be and it was so fun to feed the ducks. The water pressure for my hot shower was amazing. I loved binder that included all of the recommended places in the area to visit. I cannot wait to visit again.
The pictures and description of the property are spot on! It has everything you need for a relaxing & comfy stay. From the beautiful view of the pond, the sunsets, the mountain tops & adorable ducks, this tiny home is a true gem. Not to mention spotless! Good location for those looking to hike or mountain bike forests & State Parks within an hours car ride.
My best friend & I stayed here for a wedding in Travelers Rest. The Tiny House was perfect. We had all we needed, including coffee, shampoo, and even duck food. The ducks ate out of our hands. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot with great water pressure. Jeff & Cheryl responded quickly to all of my questions & were very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!
This tiny house could not be more perfect! It was super clean, everything you could possibly need was there, and the setting was beautiful. Our hosts thought of everything, even a little bucket of feed for the ducks in the pond. I highly recommend this beautiful little spot. I hated to leave.
The tiny house was the perfect little getaway for my daughter and I. Just 30 minutes from Converse, it was very easy to participate in the weekend’s activities at the university while allowing us to return to the quiet of the property for needed rest and relaxation as our school years come to an end. Sitting on the dock was a great way to spend an afternoon catching up with each other. Thank you for creating the perfect little oasis for us.
We have been thinking about Tony houses and this was an opportunity to have the experience, what we didn’t expect was the beautiful pond and scenery. Feeding the ducks was really nice. As secluded it is, we were so happy to see Uber Eats delivers and Landrum, a little town is near by. Very responsive landlord, incredibly accommodating
This was our first time staying in a Tiny House and we were spoiled with it. Other homes will have a hard time measuring up. This home is extremely well appointed, and thoughtfully stocked. From coffee, to snacks and cream in the refrigerator. It is also set in a peaceful country setting overlooking a pond with many ducks Do not hesitate to stay at this lovely home
The whole property is an escape from busy every day life, a place where you can sit back and relax with everything you need to unwind. Enjoy the natural light flooding the tiny home. Start or end the day with a hot shower with great water pressure. Wander down by the pond and feed the ducks, enjoy the view from the dock, or cast a few lines with the provided fishing gear. Have a campire on a starry evening. Or relax inside with TV and comfortable furniture. You won't regret it.
Half hour from Greenville Spartanburg Airport and just 30 minutes to Jones Gap Park, under an hour to Asheville and lots to do in between. The property was private and beautiful. The house was everything I needed. It was supposed to be me and my husband but I ended up going alone and felt safe on the property with the farm house just up the way. Thank you! I will be back.
This is our second stay, but not our last, at this lovely little oasis. The space is perfect for the three of us, is generous appointed with everything necessary for a cozy breakfast or family (of 3) dinner. It offers the space we need to catch up with one another, without the distractions of Main Street or the noise of traffic (you may however, hear an occasional moo, neigh, bray, or quack). The gathering spaces, both indoor and out, are perfect for conversations, reflection, or games. This space is a short drive to Greenville and Spartanburg, or our preferred activity, a hike on one of the beautiful trails at Paris Mountain State Park. The tankless water heater allowed for all of us to take much needed showers without the fear of cold water (an ammenity not often found at hotels). We can't wait for our return!
We had such a great time here. It was so peaceful being able to sit on the porch and enjoy the sunsets, read in the mornings and feel like you were at a peaceful retreat away from the world. Fishing & pedalboating on the pond with the kids. Everyone loved feeding the ducks every day and also was able to enjoy fresh duck eggs for breakfast every morning. Plenty of farms around the area offering raw milk & fresh produce.
It was summer so too warm for a bonfire, but I'm sure that’s amazing when it’s cooler out. The fall is probably beautiful. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway by yourself, with your partner, or with your small family, this is a great place to stay.
Good overall; recommend bringing some items yourself
Good stay overall. Loved the few of the pond and watching the ducks and birds all day. Porch seating was very comfortable. Area and neighborhood were quiet and peaceful. As is often the case with tiny houses like these, asthetics is prioritized over function. The seating indoors is good looking but not always the most comfortable. The bed on the ground floor is not comfortable (highly suggest mattress pad) and I was forced to climb and crawl to sleep in the loft bed. The bathroom sink did not run any hot water until after I took a hot shower. I suggest planning ahead on Sundays if you want breakfast. I spent an hour looking up breakfast places as many that I found on Yelp are closed on Sundays. I ended up going to Inman (15 mins away) and I HIGHLY recommend The Crepe Factory. It's busy. Long wait for seating and for food but absolutely worth it! The hosts put together a nice book with recommendations, but I wish there were more recommendations for breakfast rather than just dinner and drinks. Things you should bring with you: hand sanitizer (there was none) and extra boxes of tissues (I only found one).
Always wonderful to stay at the Tiny house! We look forward to staying here! Always clean, well stocked, comfortable and the grandkids love feeding the ducks! Very cozy and peaceful to sit on the couch and watch the deer while drinking coffee each morning.
This tiny house was adorable and comfortable. Beautiful view of the duck pond - the hosts even supplied duck food. Nice quiet and relaxing vacation was enjoyed. Would definitely recommend and go back again.
