The luxury room is windowless…. I thought this was a joke, it wasn’t. The rooms had an overwhelming damp smell also, we did manage to get moved to a room with a window but for the price you pay and the non daylight and damp smelling tiny room you get it was very poor value for money. We booked this hotel as a treat and it really wasn’t.

This property is cheap and well located near the main street. When we booked our room the nicer ones were booked so we got the cheaper option. They must have used the pictures of the nicer rooms in place of actual pictures of the room we got. There was no window except for a small ventilation window in the bathroom. Many of the rooms that we saw with windows went to the inside courtyard, reasonable since this place is in the middle of a city block but it means you can't open your window for fresh air because it just smells like the pool right off the lobby. We didn't have that problem on account of not having a window. The lighting in the room is really harsh and blue at one point we came back, turned on the lights, and my husband said those lights should be illegal. The roof is pretty but there nothing to provide shade during the day. Also, the WiFi was broken the entire time we were there, when asked about it the person at the desk just said sorry it's broken. We asked again later and they gave us access to the office Internet but it didn't reach our room. Bathroom was nice but pretty dark. AC didn't work very well.

H177 Hotel was in an excellent location for us to easily access the Historical area and particularly the restaurants. The beds were comfortable. Due to the style of hotel it took a little getting used to having no windows. It felt closed in. The hotel said it offers pastries in the morning. To me, toast and jam is not pastries. This was disappointing. Otherwise, our stay was satisfactory.

Absolutely thrilled that I booked H177! Excellent location close to the main walking strip with lots of excellent restaurants and bars. The staff were so friendly and helpful and could not be more accommodating! We ended up booking 2 more nights we loved it so much

This Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Campeche Historic Center. Rooms are clean and modern. You can park on the street which is easy. Restaurants, bars and local stores are are 2-3 blocks away. If you like to walk and be in the middle of the walled city, this is where you should stay.

This was a beautifully renovated facility with a rooftop terrace providing a good for lounging and seeing the rooftops of the buildings of the old town. There were outdoor street ding right around the corner. It was easy to get to any location in the centre. And there was free parking on the street. The rate per night was very reasonable. Only downside were the dry buns , that only thing offered for breakfast.

Conveniently located in the historic centre. Comfortable and clean. The roof top deck is nice. The pool is indoors, located by the lobby, and more like a large jacuzzi.

Not a quiet place to stay but it is clean.
Employees were very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and maintained. The A/C was nice and cold. The wifi was so so. If you need wifi for business, don’t stay here. My most important suggestion is bring EAR PLUGS or a sound machine. You can hear everything and everyone. Select another hotel if you want peace and quiet. Otherwise, a clean and safe place to stay in a good location. The hotel does not have its own parking but there is a lot within a block.

Pros - Good location, modern clean rooms, friendly staff, price Cons - Poor internet that works in common areas, no internet in room; VERY LOUD, noise is amplified and you can hear conversations and people using the bathrooms in their rooms. We booked 7 nights. If we could have received a refund on our booking we would have left after the first night. Not a good place for kids.

Great stay near Zocalo
Hotel was near Zocalo but in a quiet street. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and had comfortable beds. The jacuzzi was a nice addition. Quiet stay.

We were in room 106, which didn’t have wifi reception. The tv didn’t work so when we called someone he pressed a few buttons until we had static tv and then acted like he fixed it. The shower takes ten minutes to warm up. Location is excellent.

Location, location, location
This hotel was perfectly located in the central district inside the old walls of Campeche. Staff was friendly, room was clean and wifi worked well. I stayed here for 7 days and enjoyed my stay the only negative for me was the last 2 nights (weekend) it was very noisy from other guests & a baby screaming at all hours but otherwise a very good stay at H177.

This hotel is supposed to be modern but I feel that it’s lacking something. The modern part of our room was the bathroom that was nicely decorated but a bit dark. And actually the whole room was dark since it was street level, we had to keep the thick curtain closed all the time. It would have been nice to have light curtain also to keep the privacy and have natural light. The air wasn’t fresh even though we used ac (the window could not be opened). Bed was not very comfortable and spa tub was cold. The rooftop terrace was nice. You can see the sunset (and sunrise?) and there are chairs and 2 sun beds for relaxing. There are also 2 rooms that have direct access to the terrace and when I asked to for a possibility to change our room there, the receptionist said that I will be happy with the room that I have because the price level is “something else”. I felt that it was funny comment and didn’t even continued the discussion (how would he know my travel budget?). Otherwise the receptionist were very helpful. All in all.. For next time.. I would choose something else (e.g. based on reviews Hotel Socaire) since unfortunately this hotel doesn’t have any spirit.

Great location but loud
Fantastic location, comfy bed, included jacuzzi and great terrace. Stayed in room 105 and from the room you could hear everything in the hallway as if you were standing in the hallway...other doors closing and people talking. Made it difficult to sleep or sleep in.

Conveniently close to restaurants and shops around town, friendly staff, pretty standard room, nothing fancy. Didn’t like that for any natural light to come in the window drape would have to be open, allowing anyone in the street a direct view of the entire room. Aside from that, pleseant stay.

Its a cheap option, that's its only advantage. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything going on in the hotel. We were unable to sleep due to conversations other guests where having in the lobby, halls or even in their rooms. It is also very claustrophobic since most rooms don't have windows except small ones that open towards the hall.

There was a problem at the hotel as the 2nd floor had a bad sewer odor but the manager moved us to a suite on the 3rd floor which was great. Coffee was not available in the morning for some reason but there was tea available. Safe would not work so a key was provided. Probably good for what is available in the area as there are only a few good places to stay in Campeche.

Convenient and Clean Hotel
The hotel staff were very kind and the included free off-street parking was very close. The hotel itself was modern, simple and clean. The location was in the center of the walled part of the city, so very convenient.

Convenient but noisy old center accommodation
Very well located in old Campeche; OK welcome and room size OK. Tiny bathroom. Convenient bar in the central tiny patio by the tiny swimming pool, perfect for 4 people...If your room opens on that patio, it might be very noisy! We had to get linen for our son and make his bed as it was not ready. Nice roof top terrasse.
