There was absolutely no staff Visibility to help with luggage we had to lug our own luggage to our rooms which is unheard of / previous owners had bell staff to take your luggage from the car - foyer areas are very run down - whole hotel needs a revamp as it’s looking very stayed - it is such a shame as we have been here many times under the old owners and loved it every time - this time we have been left wanting - even the rooftop bar was empty which tells you something - this used to ALwAyS be pumping …. Do better to stay competitive

I recently stayed at Shangri-La Sydney for 5 nights, and it was a truly memorable experience. The view was breathtaking, the hotel was conveniently located near Sydney’s iconic landmarks, and the Horizon Club free flow as well as the afternoon tea were both excellent.

The location was very good, right near the marina and Sealife Aquarium. Lots of dining near the waterfront and the Hop on Bus Stop was close by too. Needed a hotel for an early flight out of Sydney airport and this is as close as you can get. Clean, modern hotel. A bit expensive, but great not to have to navigate getting to the airport early in the morning.
