Sorry, Dogs are NOT considered at this property. Camden is the premier location in Mid-Coast Maine and Bayview Street is arguably one of the nicest streets. Built in 1890, with much of its classic charm and appeal intact, the Park View home enjoys many modern updates throughout. This comfortable home is a wonderful base to spend days sightseeing, walking downtown to shop or have lunch and stroll back to relax and regroup. Park View is part of a duplex, but has its own entrance and private accommodations to include tasteful decor, new beds. and has a wonderful mix of antique furnishings throughout. Traditional, somewhat steep, carpeted stairs lead from the dining area to the hallway on the second-floor with a bedroom on either side. A full bath is accessible from both bedrooms which includes a soaking clawfoot tub, but not a shower unit. Take a step back in time as you walk down Bayview Street to town or down to the park or up the street and onto Chestnut Street for more siteseeing and then into town. There is a remarkable collection of antique New England homes, many with front porches and barns, creating a shady retreat in summer. The house sits just two blocks from the center of Camden and Camden Harbor with its shopping, restaurants, and harbor park. Park View is also very close walking distance to the Laite Beach & Park.
