The cottage is a former "garage-barn" (2 floors) that's been lovingly re-crafted into a cottage that's nicely decorated with sea-themed and comfy decor. The locale is great if you'd like to ditch your car and walk to restaurants; and bike on nearby trails! We are only cautioning that IF you plan to cook your own meals, the kitchen set-up is on the 2nd floor with the bedroom. It's OK for short, quick meals (e.g microwaveable meals) you wish to prepare, but inconvenient for anything fancier. It was a perfect fit for our needs. We were visiting family and friends in the area. We were also close to Camden, Hope and Rockland. A great place to sleep after our fun-filled days. Communication with the owner was seamless. She made herself available for recommendations and any needs I might’ve had during my stay. Plenty of room to sleep 3 to 4 adults. Everything you need to prepare meals and preserve food was there. The place was in walking distance from coffee, shops, restaurants, water,. But there is no tourist traffic within two blocks of the property. While the place is a little pricey, it actually ended up being less than any hotel room. I would have rented considering taxes and fees. This place was top rate, classy, and perfect. ##### Karen K.
