Great hotel choice
Lovely big room at the back overlooking the park. It was fairly quiet, despite students arriving for the new term! Very comfortable. Good WiFi. Fridge in the room, with fresh water, milk and juice, Breakfast bag provided. Great staff.

Fantastic stay
Everything works as it should be, service is fantastic and the personnel is friendly and helpful. The only hiccup of the hotel is, there is nowhere to set down the car for unloading or loading of luggage. It is not the fault of the hotel as it is situated. All the same, we will stay there again for any future travel to Cambridge.

Good location in central Cambridge. Room was small, but clean and reasonably priced. Decor is perhaps a little dated. The hotel provides only extremely limited breakfast.

Highly recommended
We stayed for two nights for a college interview. The location was convenient, staff helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, with two windows looking a park. Spotless, plus a generous supply of tea and coffee. Great value!

One of the best boutique hotels

I'm a regular business traveller, and this is the first time I feel compelled to leave a review. This is a very well run hotel with *fantastic* staff, and I'd be pleased to stay again. First, the room: simple and not flashy. Everything works, the bed is comfortable, and it has AC. What I really liked about the room was one particular small touch: a nice little tea-pot, very good quality tea, and fresh milk every day in the fridge. Wonderful cookies also. A big step up from the large corporate hotels with their UHT milk. The service was superb-- a step above what I typically get in the big corporate places. Well done! Look forward to returning.

The staff both arriving, during and leaving were GREAT. During the evening the ladies made good conversation and drinks. The only problems was we ONLY stayed one night. We will be back. Thanks for a great time.

Unfortunately did not get to spend the night at the hotel due to an external water issue, however the hotel staff/manager rebooked us into another hotel free of charge (also worked to get us a hotel that was close to the Regent/city centre due to plans whilst we were in Cambridge). During the short time we did spend there, can say it was a lovely room and view and very comfortable. Would recommend despite the stay being cut short.

Good location for city centre and wide choice of local restaurants. Only negative would be the lack of parking and cost for public car park which is reflective of the general Cambridge traffic issue.

Regent Hotel
A good stay at The Regent Hotel, it has a good location maybe 10 mins walk into city centre. The room we had was quite small and we struggled with the A/C as it was a bit warm. The continental breakfast was adequate with a lovely view from the dining room over a nice park and the staff both at breakfast and at reception were very good and friendly. A little overpriced for the size of the room in my opinion but all in all a comfortable stay.

Good hotel in the heart of Cambridge.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting Cambridge. The hotel is centrally located, close to good restaurants and the university Colleges and was perfect for our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. We had a lovely view over Parker's Piece. The room was not very spacious but it was clean and well stocked with teas, coffee and fresh milk plus a good hairdryer. Parking was a little difficult as one had to move the car to a nearby car park during the day.

Good stay at Regent hotel. I arrive quite late in the evening and the reception was open which was good. Room was a little small but excellent large bathroom. Tv is tiny and quite far from the bed. Breakfast options are limited to cereals and pastries (no hot food) but decent overall

Excellent Service and Great Location
We stayed at the Regent Hotel for only one night but it was a wonderful experience. Just for context, we stayed over Valentine's day weekend and I asked for some flowers, a bottle of Prosecco, and a box of chocolate to be arranged in the room. Not only did they do a great job of those, we received an upgrade on arrival to an Executive Room, which certainly was a delightful surprise for us. The room had great views over Parker's Piece and was very well kept with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The hotel was also located in a great location where everything in the city center was within a 10 minute walk. The hotel also offers a continental style breakfast with plenty of cereals, fruits, bread and pastries. Furthermore, they will bring the breakfast to you for no additional charge if you place an order by 10:30pm the night before.
