"The bed was far too small - I didn't get a decent night's sleep there due to that. There was a power socket on only one side of the bed - very inconvenient. The wi-fi was very good but very fiddly to connect to. We were charged to park there - this is just grasping. The single lift was glacially slow. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant apart from the woman on reception when we checked out - she was abrupt to the point of rudeness."

"We stayed for two nights in a quadruple family room. The room itself was quite dated, although it was clean overall. There was some dust underneath the pull-out bed, which could have been addressed more thoroughly. On a positive note, the double bed was very comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a great night’s sleep. The in-room facilities were good, with a nice selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was powerful, which was a real plus. The hotel as a whole could benefit from some refurbishment, as there were signs of wear and tear, including ripped wallpaper in some of the public areas. We really enjoyed the continental breakfast, which offered a good variety including cereals, yoghurts, croissants, spreads, ham, and cheese. The catering staff were friendly and clearly worked hard to keep everything well stocked. Overall, the location is perfect for exploring the Cambridge on foot."

"Very spacious and modern decor....excellent location. Used the pool and sauna....helpful desk staff.....plenty of space in the lounge..Good sound insulation. "

"Great hotel in a good location just a short walk into the city centre. Modern interior, great size family room. Lovely bar area with reasonably priced cocktails. Restaurant looked inviting too but we’d already booked elsewhere. Did have the breakfast in there though which was very good. Will be our No.1 choice for any future stays in Cambridge "

"This was our first stay at the Wilde hotel and we were very impressed. The room had everything you could possibly need and was very clean. The staff were very helpful and they had a great little shop in the reception area with gorgeous fresh pastries. We will definitely come back!!"

"Great food at the restaurant. Nice health suite for leisure activities. Room could do with a little renovation as the window doesn't close properly, leaving a gap. And some chipped tiles in the bathroom."

"Hotel, staff, breakfast and room all good. One disappointing point is that parking is extra and paid daily by an app. I forgot to renew for 2nd day so am expecting a ticket which is annoying as there is no alternative parking."
