This is not a review for the amenities but a review to say how disappointing it was to have a phone call from the staff just a few hours before getting there to say that they can’t accommodate all 4 of us despite the fact that we booked a room for 4 (2 nights) . Not the best news around 6pm with 2 kids .
The good part was that they refunded us immediately .

One member of staff, a bearded one, wearing a sweater, was so rude and obnoxious. A scary experience. On the other hand, the other staff members were kind and supportive I have to admit.

The hotel is a little dated looking but has a spacious carpark. Exceptionally helpful staff and a very decent breakfast. Room was clean with a good shower. Very well placed for travel into Ypres and beyond and was ideal for our trip.

The room was clean, parking and location were convenient. The breakfast was not up to scratch eg. Coffee machine not working, very small jug for the milk it was empty most of the time. Not great but also not the worst.

"we stay here every year en route from Calais to the alps. Really great hotel for a stopover. Staff are super friendly and there is always a pizza and a pint waiting. Room services and reception staff all friendly and helpful. Very good location too if you want to visit Arrass."
