Calvi Risorta is a small town, so the best time to visit depends on what you'd like to do in the surrounding region. If you're planning to explore the historic sites and natural beauty of the Campania region, the shoulder seasons of April-May and September-October are ideal. During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm, typically ranging from 20-25°C, making it comfortable for sightseeing without the intense heat or larger crowds of summer. This is great for couples or solo travellers who want to visit archaeological sites like Pompeii and Herculaneum or enjoy scenic drives along the Amalfi Coast. For those looking for a relaxing summer holiday with sunshine and beach time, June-August offers the warmest weather, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C. While Calvi Risorta itself is inland, this period is excellent for day trips to the nearby coast, such as the beaches of Gaeta or Sperlonga, which are about an hour's drive away. Families might find this time suitable for combining cultural excursions with seaside relaxation, though it will be busier with tourists.Visiting outside these peak times, especially in the winter months, means cooler weather and some attractions may have reduced hours.
