In a cramped and busy tourist town, this hotel is a rare gem. It has excellent parking and is very well situated to walk into the town - just a few minutes. The room was lovely and well appointed. There are 2 breakfast options, with an express service from reception for those with small appetites or on a budget.

We’ve stayed here before and this hotel is excellent. Location is perfect - 5 minutes walk to the town. Lovely rooms with balcony and lovely surroundings. We’ll be back again

A gem of an hotel
The hotel is a short walk from the beach/shops/restaurants. We had a lovely room with a proper balcony with chairs and table. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful building set in a quiet area not far from the town of Deauville and Trouville. A two minute walk to the shops and restaurants. 15/20 minutes walk to the beach . No problem with the parking especially if you arrive afternoon time. We spent our first day in Trouville . There were plenty of restaurants and on the Wednesday there was a huge market. We stopped off at Robert & Denis for the best seafood lunch ! The next day we walked across the bridge to Deauville. It is so beautiful, the buildings are so unique and pretty . Plenty of designer shops . We would definitely stay at this hotel again , we had a room at the front with a balcony. There is no air conditioning but we took our own and also borrowed one from reception. The rooms are very clean but on the small side.

Overall it is a nice hotel with great amenities (swimming pool, gym, spa). Good location and large parking (a must in this cute town). Unfortunately, because of Covid (or other excuse) the rooms were not cleaned daily in our 3 night stay and the spa was not open.

everything good except the breakfast buffet. It was not well organized and takes forever to get a cup of coffee.....staff in dinning room looks not knowing what they are doing.

Lovely hotel
A lovely hotel very close to Trouville harbour- literally 2 minutes walk. Also very close to the bridge to Deauville. Many restaurants very close by- easy walking distance and almost flat. The hotel is lovely with good clean facilities including games room and pool ( which we didn't go into). The room was superior but was very spacious and comfortable and had a little seating balcony outside. Only qualm was the price was quite high. However the area is an expensive area and this was par for that area- and it did have free car parking. But it still felt a bit pricey- booking earlier may have saved us a few pennies but we booked quite late. But one small free bottle of water on the first day only felt a bit tight on their overheads!

nice hotel good location
This is the 5th time we have used this hotel when in Trouville as it is very comfortable and normally lives up to its reputation. Regrettably on this occasion the wifi went down on 12/9 and was still unavailable at our departure on 13/9 and although I had spoken with the staff regarding this there appeared to be little or no effort being made to progress rectifying the problem. As this is a 4 star Best Western Hotel I would expect better.

Would benefit from some TLC
Within a very short walk of a great selection of restaurants, this hotel seems to have lots of potential. The reception staff were helpful and knowledgeable, although the breakfast staff seemed rushed. While it has facilities such as pool and sauna, a pool table and bar it seemed to tick the boxes of a four-star hotel on paper but the overall experience didn’t quite measure up to other four-star hotels. The general ambiance was a bit drab and tired. There were many things that could be done to improve the sense of quality, such as recovering the pool table, replacing the wobbly balcony railings and dining chairs, and changing the rusting name sign at the entrance. It would have been nice too if the corridor lights came on when we left the room before we got halfway down the corridor, but apparently this can’t be fixed. Being 6’3” the shower in the eaves was challenging but the bedroom was clean and comfortable.

Comfortable and convenient
Nice hotel situated a short walk from the river, cafes and bars. Good parking. The streets approaching hotel are narrow made narrower by many parked cars. Complicated one way system which confused the sat nav! Overall experience of hotel very good with excellent breakfast.

I enjoyed my stay in Normandy. Deauville is more beautiful than I expected and the morning market made for a lovely stroll. The hotel was satisfactory mainly as the price was too high for the quality (Paris was 30 percent cheaper and the paris hotel experience was far superior). Shared hotel area somewhat dated and dull. Breakfast room window dirty. Ladies working in breakfast room were friendly and efficient which helped. Breakfast food was ok.

Very spacious room, with a fantastic bathroom. This hotel is conveniently located and the service of the staff was very good. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer here.

Very nice hotel but you will need Sat Nav to find it easily ! Surprising that a four star hotel does not have air conditioning in the rooms. However rooms very spacious and comfortable beds etc. A nice place to stay, but no evening restaurant, breakfast available but quite expensive.

We booked for 4 nights, stayed one night, would not go back again. Hotel is situated in the back streets, on line the Hotel looks great, the Balcony's look great, we had to change because the balcony was a brick wall looking over a car park and roof tops.

Location with Great Facilities
A good location with plenty of Parking space close to the roundabout between Beauville & Trouville. We had a spacious room which had a great tv so we could watch a few dvds. Room was bright and spotlessly tidy. Staff were helpful when needed and there is a small swimming pool & pool table. This was a perfect location and peaceful. No Complaints at all

Nice hotel - picturesque town
We stayed at Best Western Hostelliere du Vallon for two nights in June 2014. It is a neat, well furnished and relaxed hotel in the lovely seaside town of Trouville. There is free parking and the hotel is easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and the boardwalk (a pleasant walk). We also walked to the twin town of Deauville on the other side of the river - upmarket and very attractive. We had a lovely day trip along the coast to charming Honfleur and Etretat. Then only 60k to Caen to visit the Normandy beaches and memorials.

Nice relaxing few days
The hotel is very nice and calm, tucked away behind the main drag of the pier and promanade but well within walking distance of everything including the train station. It is very charming and in the style of the town and well kept grounds. We went in Septemember and it had a steady trickle of people coming in but we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves since many people seemed more interested in going on day trips. Since we were on our honeymoon we were more interested in some R&R and quality time and taking in the quaintness than driving out to the cathedrals, D-Day beaches, or Mont St Michel. We will probably come back ina few years and indulge in all of that but for our purposes it was very romantic and relaxing.

Quiet Yet Centrally Located
Quiet location yet still within walking distance of the town centre. Main reception both helpful and efficient. Hotel car park can become full in the early evening, so arrive early in the afternoon to guarantee a space. Bathrooms are spacious and modern. Wireless internet functional but a little slow - hotel was full!

Staff were quite surly, especially at breakfast. They reluctantly cooked more bacon and egg at 10 am but not very well, breakfast closed at 10.30. Scrambled egg was burned, bacon very poor quality to start with and served with a scowl not a smile, by all staff. The continental stuff was fine. Coffee machine did not work.

It was my second time to Deauville. This time we stayed at Hotel BEST WESTERN Hostellerie du Vallon in Trouville-Deauville side, where the fresh seafood market is just a street away. Since it is November, there were scarcely tourists and occupants in the hotel and restaurants along the waterfront. Parking is available at the hotel and it is easy to find parking spaces along the waterfront.

Central Location
My wife and I first visited Trouville/Deauville in the summer of 1978 and were deeply impressed. We have been back many times since but this was the first time that we stayed so close to the centre of Trouville. This meant that, after our evening meal, we only had a short stroll back to the comfort of our hotel room. Most of our meals were good, but we had an outstanding sea food meal at 'Le Vapeur', the main course, the Raie, was just superb. Of course we also enjoyed walking on Trouville Beach and on the Boardwalk at Deauville. The Petit Dejeuner at the small cafe, Charlotte Corday, was something we both looked forward to every morning, really excellent. This will certainly not be our last visit to this beautiful and interesting part of Normandy.

Very friendly & helpful staff
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, only one of us could speak a little French, but they went along with it and tried their English. One of the receptionists was particularly good at English. We both enjoyed the hotel, breakfast was not cheap, but good comparative value. Good facilities, though we did not use the fitness and pool rooms. Located really close to shops and cafes of Trouville, though tucked away up a side street.

it did the job
This is a nice hotel, clean, friendly, good breakfast room. although there is a bar it has no permanent bar staff, to get a drink one needs to ask the reception staff to serve you. Small pool. Biggest let down is the location if you want to be near the beach, which is 15 minute walk away. Deauville town is nearer than Trouville beach. Also hotel is surrounded by residential properties, at least it was quiet.

2nd visit to this hotel. We like it because it has a lovely pool, outdoor sitting areas and is close to Trouville restaurants. It is also an easy walk to facilities at Deauville including the la Touques racecourse.

This hotel is well situated for the town centre. The staff are very pleasant. The room only had a wardrobe and drawers for clothes would have been helpful, particularly during a longer stay. Breakfast was very good, with lots of variety. Pity there wasn't a restaurant service for other meals or light snacks.
