"The listing is completely misleading. I understand they are doing renovations but that isn't disclosed. The place was in shambles. The housekeeping staff was so sweet. The elevator had a mind of it's own which was scary! The hotel looks nothing like the photos. Paper thin walls were rough to deal with! Luckily we weren’t there long. "

"The room was clean. Very loud noise from the street/freeway. Few amenities, no pool or bar. Breakfast was no frills/underwhelming: eggs, potatoes, waffle station, no bacon or sausage or even ham). I would stay here in a pinch if I were traveling alone, just to have a place to lay my head. But, I was with my wife and kids so almost any available alternative chain would have provided a more enjoyable stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Martinez, and the unit was completely stocked with everything we needed. The host was communicative and gave us plenty of information to access the property with ease. Our only issue was that we could hear a lot of what the hosts were doing, including their children, and constant walking above us. We understand this is a unit attached to a house, but the listing noted total privacy and called it an apartment, which technically it is, but we’d consider it more of an in-law suite. The daytime noise paired with the strict quiet hours made it a bit restrictive for us (an adult couple), but we would still consider it a five star stay given the small town and the centrality. "
