Bananas old, eggs in sandwich bad, no conditioner in shower container, understaffed. Nice building not well managed."

"Calhoun La Quinta is a worn out property. The owner of this franchise should be ashamed. Two stars because the shower tub drain worked. TV did not work, AC did work, Ceiling in hallway collapsed down and water from tub or toilet was overflowing into a catch tub flooding onto the floor. Staff arriving for morning shift tried hard to get things under control. Gold start to her."

"Our room was beautiful. The bed was comfy. Blankets were comfy pillows were comfy. It was very clean smelled good. Breakfast was awesome. Whole area around was beautiful."

"We stayed at Creekside Cabin on a whim for my wife’s 35th birthday, and we had an amazing time. The cabin looks exactly like the pictures online—no surprises, just as beautiful in person.There was a thoughtful welcome gift waiting for us with goodies like popcorn, s’mores ingredients, and a sweet note, which was a really nice touch. One of the best parts was the sound of the creek right off the back porch. Sitting out there with a cup of coffee in the morning was pure peace.We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs over the fire under the stars, enjoyed the hot tub, and even cooled off in the creek—such a perfect mix of relaxing and fun.A couple small things to note: the Mortal Kombat game wasn’t working, but it didn’t take away from our stay at all. Also, the RecTeq grill is no longer there—it’s now propane, and we didn’t have any on hand. Not a big deal for us; we made it work cooking inside and over the fire.The roads in the resort are narrow and steep, so definitely drive slow! We didn’t run into any other cars, but it could get tight if you did.Paul was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had, which made everything even smoother.We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. If you’re thinking about booking—do it. You won't regret it."

"Free breakfast, which is a plus, but for 2 straight days they had NO napkins at all at breakfast. Hotel is right next to an Aldi, so at the very least I would expect them to go next door and buy some napkins after the first day when they ran out. Room was ok, but very run down and outdated. "
