Experience authentic island life in this lovingly and tastefully renovated traditional stone house in peaceful Estreito da Calheta. The house can accommodate up to 4 guests and boasts a heated pool, well-tended garden and wonderful ocean views.
The house is located in a very quiet area with lots of space and nature. The sandy beach of Calheta and the picturesque coastal town of Jardim do Mar are just a few minutes' drive away.
The atmosphere is peaceful, open and relaxed, with a rural ambience – ideal for guests seeking relaxation, privacy and authentic Madeira, combined with breathtaking sea views every day.
A special highlight is the spacious outdoor area:
the large terrace with barbecue, the very large garden, a private pool and sea views invite you to relax, sunbathe and enjoy yourself. From the end of March 2026, the pool can be heated on request, offering additional comfort even in the cooler months. The use of the pool heating can be booked separately. Several seating and lounging areas provide sunny and shady retreats throughout the day – always accompanied by sweeping views of the sea.
New, high-quality beds ensure a restful night's sleep:
The master bedroom features a 1.80 m wide box spring bed with two different degrees of firmness, ideal for individual sleeping needs.
The second bedroom is equipped with two separate single beds (90 cm each) – perfect for friends, children or flexible sleeping arrangements.
The house has two bedrooms and a well-designed bathroom layout: there is a shower and toilet on the upper floor, and a separate toilet on the ground floor – practical and convenient, even when the house is fully occupied.
Inside, the house combines traditional natural stone elements with a warm, cosy atmosphere. The large, fully equipped kitchen and the cosy living area with pellet stove invite you to linger, especially on cooler evenings. Two secure private parking spaces are available directly on the property.
The lovingly landscaped garden offers plenty of space to relax. Herbs and selected fruits may be used in limited quantities, in keeping with a respectful approach to nature and the environment.

Spontan gebucht als Zwischenstopp für Rundreise.Ich war rundum zufrieden, es ist ein tolles grosses Haus, mit riesiger Küche, sehr bequemen Betten und toller Kaffeemaschine mit echten Bohnen! Alles sehr sauber und wirkt neu.Die Aussicht auf das weite Meer ist der Hammer, der Pool toll und der Garten mit verschiedensten Kräutern und Blumen unglaublich schön. Das Wetter war angenehm warm. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war perfekt, sehr freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Fazit: Eines der besten Ferienhäuser bisher!
