It had an odd smell, either cigarette smoke or drying concrete - a musty smell that seemed to dissipate after a day or so. The apartment was in need of repair. there were patches in the walls and on the cement ceiling. So a bit disappointing. The neighborhood is convenient to downtown but a bit sketchy because of the recycling center next door. No issue, just appearance.
