We were there for a family wedding and the house is just 30 minutes from the airport, which was nice as not everyone in the house arrived and left on the same days and times. Being on the west side of Calgary it was easy to get to Banff and Lake Louise on the extra days we tacked on before and after the wedding, so we were able to make a mini-vacation out of it. Having a self-contained apartment in the lower level of the house was super convenient for us. The location made it easy to get onto the Trans Canada highway for a couple of trips to the mountains.
