Not as bad as some of the other reviews. Air conditioning worked well, the room was very clean. Staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

A a solo female traveller, I was cautious when I noticed men sitting outside smoking and gathering outside their rooms on their ground level balconies. I was only at the Inn to sleep, but still played it safe and did not venture out of my room after dark.
I stayed at this inn because of the price and location. Although the furniture in the room was not new, the room and bathroom were clean, and the bed linens were fresh and pressed. There were no odours.
The beds were comfortable, the room was dated and we found a bed bug on our bed on check out. There was no maid service and we had to ask for clean towels to shower

Low grade facilities, good location, not great for women travelling with other women
Hotel is old and not the most cleaned. However, bed sheets were clean, sleep was good and shower was hot and good. For the price there is no real complaint. If you're doing a quick overnight with low cost. Its ok!
The place looks shady. The room key they gave us didn’t work at first and the whole place smells like cigarettes. The front staff was helpful and change our room right away. Overall it’s worth its price. Would not come back though!!
It is exactly what you pay for. Room was clean and staff were nice, buildings had a weird smell though. Walls are very thin so bring earplugs cause you can hear absolutely everything. Convenient location.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Nice and clean very good value for the money close to amenities very satisfied
An economical, "no frills" stay in Calgary. I had a single Queen bed room & it was pretty small but it had a balcony. Bed & bathroom seemed clean enough. Reasonable rate. no elevators. There was a small refrigerator & TV (use your own subscriptions for watching) The mall is only a couple of blocks away & the neighborhood seems safe enough. The entrance/exit can be a little tricky. There was an air conditioner but it was pretty noisy & thankfully, I didn't really need it. I'm not a "high maintenance" traveler so it met my needs sufficiently. I would not honeymoon here though.
Rooms were small, outlets not working
Great showers
way below the now standards for Breakfast
for just an overnight sleep I would stay again

Great place for a quick sleepover. Price was good for summer. Friendly staff. Outdoor appears older but the room we stayed in appeared to be renovated. Good restaurant options and close to Chinook mall. Overall good stay.
Don't stay here if you are not willing to 'camp out' in a well located, really poorly run motel.
I brought my own bedding (quilt & pillows). The mattresses in #105 were remarkably good. The level of care and attention to the finishes was not (caulking in the bathroom, paint touch ups everywhere, etc.). There was one or two tiny blood stains on the linens in each of the two hairs on one bed. We checked the room first with the front desk clerk present (recommended practice).
But for the price and location, the unit was clean. And the bed bug reports from 6 to 8 months ago appear to have been taken care of. Front desk reported that a pest control company was on site monthly. The tiny stains... some guests check in and use drugs. The hairs? No comment. I guess hair nets on cleaning staff is a bridge too far?
The most disappointing part was that I needed to come in a day earlier and so made a second booking. Even though I did not require room service, front desk required I clear #105 by 11 AM and then check in again at 3 PM and move my belongings back in.
