Fortunately, there was a phone number and the owner immediately provided the email so entry was not an issue at all. We would highly recommend this place."

The hotel is over a bar "The Asylum" so it gets a little loud at the entrance at night. Bed mattress was a little worn out where people sit at the side of the bed before going to sleep. "Excellent staff. The room was a bit warm because the sun hits the room all afternoon, but we were out for the day. Maybe bring a small fan for the night to help out the a/c. It was a hot July day and a/c was working overtime. Comfortable bed. No amenities but there is a community pool down the street you can use for a small fee. Breakfast-you might want to eat out but we managed. Eggs and heated vegetables, and you have to look for the breakfast area or you’ll miss it. Okay for an overnight stay in a small town if you’re passing through. Beautiful scenery and I highly recommend a picnic at the Humpback covered bridge and also Petticoat Junction nearby if you love butterflies!"
