"The property needs a bit of updating and was overpriced for what you get. We didn’t see a pool or any other amenities. I guess you pay for being so close to the entrance to Yellowstone. There was a weird smell in the room and the water in the morning was only lukewarm. The nice thing is that the room had an oven, fridge, microwave and table and there was a little table and chairs on an outdoor patio."
"You couldn’t ask for a better location! A massive food court and visitors center is walkable, plus a very cute espresso/breakfast shop is located in one of the lodges, making your caffeine fix even closer! Our only complaint (and it seemed HUGE at the time, traveling with 3 kids): no TV in the room. Also, WiFi was available but didn’t work, cell signal was very low. It made it hard to unwind after a long day of Yellowstone Park driving. We also really were sad there was no microwave in the room. :( It did have a refrigerator."
Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
6/10 Okay
"I did like the location, I liked the idea of the individual cabins, the rooftop seating was cool, the staff was friendly.
I believe our cabin could use a deep clean, there was accumulation of dirt in the corners in the bathroom, the carpet in the living room was dirty and stained, we had staff come back and clean the shower stall during our visit. The tv in the living room never worked after several attempts by maintenance. Most in this area are seasonal workers on staff. I felt we paid a little too much for what we got, (+$500 per night). Gardnier is a great place to stay to visit Yellowstone everyday. Close and easy in out. They do have suite rooms which may looked good when we peeked in."
Private Mountain Cabin with Luxury Comfort - Peaceful Escape & Big Sky Views
10/10 Excellent
"We really loved our stay at Bear Creek Cabins! It was so perfectly private, like we had our own place in the mountains, under the beautiful stars, to visit this incredible place. The log cabin is well appointed & nicely finished with the comforts of home. Comfy beds, private bathrooms, and a great kitchen to cook (plus the grill!). The surroundings are gorgeous, seeing the creek running from the porch is so serene! The drive down to Gardiner has the most gorgeous views of the mountains. So grateful for this place, we would heartily recommend it to anyone visiting here!"
