We stayed in a downstairs room in one of 11 double-storey wooden chalets just a few steps from the pool and restaurant.
The room was fairly spacious and comfortable, but at times quite noisy as there appeared to be no insulation between the upstairs and downstairs rooms and we could hear every footstep and other noises from above.
We had fresh towels and complimentary bottles of water most days. The room was cleaned every second day, or on request, including fresh bedding,
We had a lovely meal in the restaurant - many thanks to Reesha (not sure of spelling) for his recommendations and attentiveness.
The air-conditioning worked well. There was a working safe deposit box in the room.
We felt the shower room was in need of renovation; even replacing the shower curtain would have helped.
The pool was quite small, but perfect for a cooling dip, The beach was only a short walk away, as was the main street, with a great choice of shops and restaurants.
Security was good; we felt safe and secure.
A special thanks to Deepak who took care of all our needs at breakfast time and always found time for a chat.
Reception staff and cleaners were all kind and helpful.
