It's priced like a 3/4 star hotel but when I turned up it looks more like a budget hotel. When we arrived at 3pm no staff was present except security guards. I tried the self check-in machine but it failed to recognise my hotel.com reservation number (it's own reservation code is only 6 digits), a quick intercom conversation solved this.
I walked up to my family room and the door was wide open and it was very messy presumably waiting to be cleaned. It was fine after I returned a few hours later, not good if you wanted a break in your room after check-in.
The family room was surprisingly clean and modern though it is definitely on the small side for 4 people. The beds were firm and supportive so we all had a good sleep but the TV didn't work, desk was too small, no bins, kettles, cups or any amenities, the living space and the toilet is not big enough for people to move about.
The morning was briefly interrupted by noise from the back of the hotel, a quick glance saw 15 police cars and as many policemen gathering in the car park presumably to meet up, collect their vehicles and go to work together.
