"All staff were lovely helpful and friendly. Hotel looks but older than pictures especially the spa area. The adult only area is good to get away from it all and chill. Food average drinks all ok plentiful. "

Dream House "Villa Del Mar Mondrago" 200m from the Beach, with Terrace, Balcony and Wi-Fi

Beware!

"The house is not as it seems on the website. firstly there is no view whatsoever. Only a small crowded terrace for eating outside with a view of an ugly fence. There are no restaurants nearby for eating with the exception of a not-very-good Pizza place on Mondrago beach. The swimming pool is not a swimming pool. It is roughly 1.8 meters - a plunge pool. The beaches were closed for the first 3 days of our holiday so a swimming pool was a necessity. The photos of the pool (and the bedrooms) are all taken with a wide-angle lens to make them look huge. in fact the bedrooms are very small. The kitchen is poorly designed. Only a tiny dustbin was provided so we had to do a rubbish run to the big bins 100m away several times a day as otherwise there was an infestation of ants. we had to put the dishwasher on after every meal as they did not provide enough dishes or glasses (and we were only 4 people). We were told to put the dishwasher on the 'Eco' cycle only but this took 3.5 hours. The cutlery and especially knives are cheap and horrible. No sharp knives for cooking. It was extremely poor value for money and we feel conned by the website."

"As all apartment block in between Cala Dor and Portopetro. Quiet location though the rooms themselves are sometimes not quiet as noise carries from other apartments very easily! Usually ok, but when there is noise late at night this can be a disturbance. Small pool with loungers and parasols which we used many days - our daughter loved it. Pool condition needs improvement though. Overall the apartments were clean and functional, if a little basic. Lovely views over the bay of Portopetro. Good A/C. Staff very friendly and helpful. More generally, easy to walk to restaurants in the evening - 10-15mins to either Portopetro (very pretty) or Cala Dor Marina (bit more flash but worth a visit). Beaches are less close. One very small one within 10-15 mins walk, but not parasols for hire and very busy. We got a taxi to Cala Mondragó which was nice, and I think there is a bus too. Overall we had a lovely week’s holiday here - beautiful part of Mallorca. "
