"The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few steps from Cala Esmeralda. We stayed in a room with a pool view, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also very good, especially the shower and walk-in shower area. However, the towels could be better—they felt somewhat low quality for the standard of the hotel. The hotel has two pools, and both are excellent. The indoor and main hotel pool areas were very good and never felt like a problem. The only negative point was the beach club pool, which was consistently very crowded during the days we stayed. The beach club opens at 10:00 a.m. The gym is very well equipped and open 24 hours, which is a great feature. The hotel’s decoration and overall design are excellent, and the breakfast is outstanding. The spa and sauna area is also wonderful and adds a lot to the overall experience. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, with excellent facilities, great design, a very good breakfast, and spacious rooms. The crowded beach club pool and the quality of the towels are the main areas that could be improved."

"Pros: We’ve just returned from a very enjoyable 2 week stay at Villa Beatriz. The villa is lovely, well equipped and spacious. Nice pool area and comfortable sun loungers for relaxing. The villa was clean and well kept and the hosts were very helpful. We had to contact the hosts a couple of times during the 2 weeks, once when the downstairs air conditioning wasn’t working and once when we had no hot water due to a boiler issue but both times they were incredibly helpful, quick to respond and had both issues resolved within a couple of hours so no complaints from us. The villa is very close to the marina which is beautiful (5-7 minute walk). The main town and beach are a little further (25 minute walk) but we took a taxi into town and then walked back after our meals. Great choice for food and drink at both the marina and in town, we didn’t have a bad meal once. We loved Cala’dor and will definitely return and would happily stay at Villa Beatriz again. Cons: The villa is close to a road which is not clear in the property description. You can’t hear it inside so doesn’t affect sleeping but we did have a few buses and lorries going past as we relaxed on the sun loungers. It’s not hugely busy but worth noting it is close. The villa is well shielded so you cant see the road and no-one can see in, you can just hear it from time to time. It wouldn’t stop us staying here again though, you block it out after a while."
