"We stayed at the Sofitel Cairo Downtown with my wife and teen daughter for three nights before heading to Giza. Our Prestige Suite had two balconies and a separate bedroom. Staff was professional and attentive throughout. I highly recommend the Millesime Club option, which provides excellent complementary breakfast and afternoon tea. All in all, an excellent stay in Cairo."

"I loved this hotel so much, it felt like home, the receptionist Sama she was so kind and helpful, I asked her to help me many things in Cairo such as best restaurants to eat, clinic to get checked and etc, she was amazing. The hotel manager Nerman she is also amazing person, she was very helpful and was able to assist me in many things. I would like to thanks the boy who got us the Karkaday juice in the early morning we arrived and carried our luggage’s and bags. This hotel is so comfortable and feels like home. The room cleaner Umaa Nada is so nice and makes the room spotless. I would recommend this hotel highly. My husband also spoke to the owner of the hotel and he is soo nice is well, he upgraded our room for free of charge. If you have any problems and the front staff can not solve it then ask to speak to Ayman. Best hotel in downtown"

"Fantastic views from the hotel. Staff were excellent. Few issues with the general build quality of some of the features. WiFi a bit hit and miss but on the whole for what we payed the view of the pyramids from the top floor was more than enough."

"Room clean and spacious, room service is excellent very friendly staff I only had to wait for about half an hour to get my room at check in. But this is understandable. Breakfast is tasty, in room food is well served"

"Best hotel in Cairo, so close to the Pyramids. Beautiful sunset views from the rooms, from the gardens and Restaurant 139. Staff was so friendly and helpful, loved the grounds. Pool was great to cool off and beat the heat. Oh and the history, I didn’t realize it was so famous for many different reasons, similar to Waldorf Astoria in NYC. If visiting Cairo, it’s a must to be at this hotel."
