We booked day trips to Green Island to see the reef and ride the train and rode the Air Team through the rain Forrest to get to Titania and the train back down. Breakfast outside watching the sunrise over the beach was beautiful. Beach is a 2 minute walk. You can’t stay any closer to the beach. The location of this property cannot be beat. Right on the beach and there is perhaps the best restaurant in Cairns area just down the street, L'Unico Trattoria. The property itself was nice, but needs a bit of work. While we were there the AC in the main area would leak water onto the wall/floor after only about 15 minutes of work, so we were unable to use that. The showers in both bedrooms had paint pealing from the ceiling and the main bathroom needs to be re-grouted. All the other appliances worked well and I would stay there again, but hope that the owner(s) take a little time to fix it up and make it the fantastic propery it could be. ##### Kim B. Short stroll to coffee shops & restaurants. Great starting point to go adventuring from & seeing all the sights. Only 20 minutes from Cairns airport. Loved the huge comfy lounge too. Family of 6 and we had a great stay. Location was perfect if you wanted to stay in with cafes and restaurants close by or if you wanted to see what the tropical north has to offer again a great base.
