Luxury Lake Barkley Bungalow

  • Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This home has unbeatable views of Lake Barkley and the best sunset views. The home is peacefully situated off of the road and surrounded by nature. Enjoy a private outdoor dining space, grill, hammocks, and your own private sunset deck. This home is on the water and minutes from Lake Barkley Marina & Lodge. The interior has been updated with high-end finishes, like a 5-Star hotel!

    This home is situated on a hillside and has a steep driveway. The main bedroom is also located on the second floor which is accessible by a spiral staircase. The staircase is narrow to go up and down. The bedroom downstairs has murphy-bed and full bathroom. There are a lot of steps on this property, and guests should be cautious as exterior steps can become slick. The fireplace is powered by ethanol fuel which is not provided by the owner. LED Candles can placed in the fireplace for the ambiance of a real flame. The inflatable Hottub pictured in the deck photos is no longer there and not an amenity. WiFi is a wireless hotspot, and cellular coverage can be spotty at times.
    - No burning outside of designated areas.
    - Garden hose must be present for any burning.
    - No Smoking / Vaping inside. All debris from smoking must be cleaned up.

This luxury bungalow is truly a getaway. The view outside is relaxing and the house itself is very well decorated and has plenty of add ons that make this stay feel both high end and a taste of luxury. The master bedroom is comfortable and had entertaining activities and options as well as a relaxing seating area. While to get upstairs you take a spiral staircase, we opted to get dressed and ready downstairs rather than risking the walls and trying to get our bags upstairs. But overall this was a top notch place we would return to.

This property was accurately listed. It was very clean and well furnished. The view of Lake Barkley was great! The lower deck by the water was a wonderful place to relax and watch some beautiful sunsets. Would definitely rent again the next time we visit this area.

Very clean. Throughly enjoyed our week here, we spent days out on all decks and evenings in what I referred to as the TV room watching movies. We only left the house twice and ate at Taste of the South which was great, as well as El Bracero of Cadiz. I will say, if you have any mobility issues this location could prove challenging.
