Cadiz , a treasure
Wonderful location in old town. Close to train and autos stations.(easy walk) Apt has everything required. Cadiz is walkable and apt has restaurant/bars so close plus San Juan Sqare and City Hall. Sandra from host office was an invaluable source of assistance. Highly recommend.

Beautiful located apartment but lacking the homely touch
We struggled to find the apartment as we were trying to find, what was, the address of the agency. Eventually we got there after I visited the office and was told where it was. Literally yards from where we were originally standing. Then we had the opening of the door process. Now you have to download an app and this opens the building door and then the apartment door. But as we found out,it did not always work, for whatever reason. They thankfully provided keys and a code on the apartment door to get in. But if you are on your own and don't have the keys, you're snookered. So to me this is a totally complicated system and I don't like it. Is it to save on staff showing you around? The apartment itself was lovely, very well located but lacked any thought of providing customers with assistance to help them stay there. I'm talking salt, pepper, oil, water etc. A bottle of cold water in the fridge after a long drive?. Great, but not there. A cold beer? But not there. Total cost of every thing I mentioned,maybe without the oil. 3 euros. Now if Cadiz4Rentals cannot afford 3e for each apartment they have, the sheeez, they're in trouble. But if they cannot be bothered, ah that's another story. So disappointing overall. Should do better.

Dear Mr McGlade, Thank you for your confidence. We are glad to hear that you loved the flat, but we are sorry to hear that your feedback was not as good as other guests. The flat is literally a 2 minute walk from our office and you had the option of going directly to the flat. Unfortunately, we had a breakdown of the locking system during your stay but we helped you immediately by reminding you of what we explained to you in case of an emergency so that you did not feel cheated. This system was not implemented to save money because it has a considerable cost but to guarantee security (copy of keys, loss of keys,...). We are very surprised that you did not find the welcome items we left in the flat (gel/shampoo, washing machine tablet, dish soap, scouring pad, kitchen towel, oil, vinegar, sugar, coffee, water,...). We spend more than 3 euros to welcome you and other guests every day in each of our hundreds of flats in the region. Fortunately, we can afford it. Thank you for your concern. You could also have "bothered" us as many times as you needed because we are open 365. We can afford that cost too. Finally, we are sorry to find this resentful tone in your review. Even more so if some of the aspects mentioned are not true. Regards, Laura.
