The location was in a great spot. However there was a fair few issues with our check in. They kept the walking us we needed to pay even though our booking was paid in advance. If you're an international guest (outside the US) make sure you clarify this upon check in. Hotel Baja Cabo also states they're able to arrange transportations however it is impossible to contact them via phone or email. Very disappointed from this.

it was very inexpensive so I wasn't expecting much. It was the perfect location for me and the only drawback from my perspective was having to share the dorm room three nights with a local who stayed there because he kept having fights with his girlfriend. Nothing special but a great price.

Easy Walking distance to everything, room not modern and so-so adequate but clean enough, fair price for Cabo, real comfortable nice patios with lots of plants. I don’t think my room had AC, ok for November and winter but would not want to do summer without.

Ok if you're on a budget
This hotel is a nightmare to find, not even the locals know where it is. When I arrived there was an issue with check-in, I don't speak Spanish and the lady at reception didn't speak English so I didn't know what was happening. Almost an hour later I was taken to a horrible room with 4 beds in it - not what I booked. Moments later I was taken to a much nicer room - the one I actually booked! From then on my experience was good.

reasonable rooms close to town
if your looking for a resort keep looking, if your looking for an inexspensive place to sleep close to town this is perfect. quite balcony upstairs. 1.00 taco stand one block down the road.

It could be nice
I booked the "dormitory style" room. Hence the word "style"!! It's says nothing about staying with strangers!! Nor is this advertised as a Hostel hotel. This opens the book for up for all kinds of wrong. Orbitz should remove them off of the hotel listing !! It has great potential but no effort. Cabo is beautiful though !!

You get what you pay for...
The staff were relatively friendly, but the hostel was not very clean and the building itself was in poor condition. I was in a mixed dorm room which was cheap, but the bedding had cigarette holes in it and the pillows were very old. The bathroom needed better cleaning, and there were no plates or silverware, though they had a microwave. You had to walk a floor down to access the drinking water.

Filthy Nightmare !!!
We were so shocked when our taxi arrived at this " Hotel". It's in a horrible area, not close to the marina, or anything else. The discription on the Internet is complete false advertising!! There is no view,, except cars driving by, throwing up dust. Lights were broken, black mold on floor and walls of VERY small bathroom. No windows,, front door lock broken, very small sliding door with chains, and various locks to try to keep it closed. Looks down on a street with abandoned cars and garbage. There is no closet, the TV is from 1960"s, solid fuzzy and static, which does matter since all three Chanel's were Spanish. There is no internet, or concierge. The owner checks you in and he does not speak any English. Filthy, filthy room, and hotel !!! (Owner would not give us money back, since it was prepaid!! We left there, the Bahia had a last minute cancellation,, thank goodness !!)

This hotel was in a great location. A very short walking distance to convince stores, great restaurants, the marina, and the downtown district. Disappointed that Expedia told me breakfast was included because there was no hotel breakfast.

Convient location, no frills nice balconies
Rooms were clean and comfortable between 2 great restaurants and within walking distance of everything we needed.....enjoyed the large balcony and sun deck on 3rd floor. For no frills inexpensive place to stay it works

No sleep free WiFi
I booked 2 nights stay because of the reviews. I decided to give a small hotel a chance and regretted every moment. The 2 queen beds in the double room that was described were not queens. The AC unit and fan were so loud we were not able to sleep the entire night. The best feature of this hotel was the free WiFi I was able to use at 4am when I had finally had enough of squeeling fan to book another hotel. If you don't believe me I invite you to see for yourself.

Simple and friendly hotel for those looking for simple accommodations. The staff mostly speaks Spanish so go knowing some Spanish. Parking is tight but doable. Great little hotel for the price!

No hot water running. The air conditioner down .
I will never stay at this hotel again. Worst experience ever. Had no privacy, the general manager was very rude and constantly reminded me of making sure to turn off the air when i left the room. Not hot running water for showering. The beds are old and outdated. No hangers for your clothes to be hanged unless asked for it. No remote control for the television set which is falling to pieces. The manager constantly reminded me of making sure to tip the cleaning lady on a daily basis. He was unsatisfied with the amount I handed to her several times during my stay. I couldn't wait to get out of the hotel, worst experience ever.

Estimado sr; Lamentamos su , malestar .pero nos obliga a explicar .nuestra version ,la cual fue registrada por nuestras cámaras de seguridad.: usted pago únicamente por una cama de dormitorio mixto compartido y al dar alojamiento a otro huésped a las 01.34 a.m. usted fue sorprendido con otro caballero,en una situación muy desagradable de comentar al cual usted ingreso a la habitación sabiendo que no es exclusiva y que pueden llegar huéspedes en cualquier momento...al otro dia todo comenzó´a fallar. hasta el secador de cabello, y usted usa corte milimétrico.. ,por cortesía le mostramos que todo funciona correctamente.

I reserved the dormitory, thinking it was a hotel room. I did not want to room with others, so the owner sat down with me and we negotiated a room price for 2 days, which was reasonable. The hotel is very close to Cabo Wabo, and within walking distance of the shopping and marina. This a very inexpensive hotel, and that is reflected in the bathroom and beds. Stay here for proximity and price only.

Nice for the price!
I took the hotel for the price and the proximity of the town. It was the cheapest one in Cabo San Lucas, and it worth it! Don't expect to be in a luxury hotel, and you will enjoy it! It is safe, well situated, and you have all you need.

Falta de aseo y fumigación.
El precio muy económico respecto a la zona, la ubicación del hotel muy buena, pero la limpieza muy mala. Había chinches en la cama, termine todo picoteado.

Best budget choice in Cabo !
I booked the shared room for 10 days , and had the chance to make new friends and meet other travelers that were sleeping in the same room. It was a wonderful experience since the other travellers were amazing nice people and had interesting travel stories. Also the hotel staff and owner and manager did everything to make it a pleasant stay. they were super friendly and helpful with a smile. If some previous client writes bad about the staff i am sure the clients must have been rude themself. Be good and you get good back. That is how it works. Everywhere! If a client don't pay the room in time or start screaming when they don't like something ,of course it is their own problem. Not the hotel . I think this is the best hotel deal in the entire city. Unless you want to sleep with 14 people in a room in another hostel , for just a few dollars difference. I decided to choose this place because a shared room with 4 people for this price , it can not get any better. Other good things is that it is a nice short few minutes walk to the center. Also the terrace on the roof is priceless. And what a view over the city. More good things , yes free drinking water everyday. also there is a safe locker in the room . The beds are made up everyday by a nice lady. The shower is not tiny but large sized. Many plus points , i liked this hotel. Thanks for the great stay .
