Beachfront Bliss at PETERS BEACH HOUSE - 2BR 2BA - Sunrises That Steal the Show
10/10 Excellent
"We had such a dream vacation! We traveled with our three young children (7,3, & 1) and had the most amazing week. The house was newly remodeled, bay front, and we especially loved the Pack N Play, high chair, assortment of games, and chest of children’s toys! It is important to note this home does have a spiral staircase. It wasn’t as issue for our family, but might want to know this if booking with little ones. The property management company was super accommodating and helpful! "
Big on the Beach House 6BR Home + Club Access, Private Dock & Stunning Views
10/10 Excellent
"We had a terrific time - both the house and the host exceeded expectations. This house is right on the beach -looking out the many windows you might think you’re on a boat as all you see is water. Beautiful spot for sunsets. Wendy and Bob were accommodating and helpful both before and during our stay. Hope to go back one day!"
Blue Pearl-close to beach, screened porch, club, courtesy golf cart for 4.
10/10 Excellent
"This was our first time on North Captiva and we had a wonderful week at the Blue Pearl! The house is well maintained and the kitchen had everything we needed to feel at home. We had three kids under 12 and four adults and everyone was comfortable. The kids had so much fun riding around on the golf cart and swimming in the club pool. The owner responded quickly to messages and made sure we had all the codes we needed to check out kayaks. The property manager Raj was excellent and made the arrival and check in process seamless. He made sure we knew which ferry to take, had recommendations for grocery service, gave us a tour of the island so we knew where everything was, and pointed out where the manatees like to hang out (the kids were so excited!). I really cannot say enough good things about our stay and we can't wait to come back!!"
Cozy and Private our island home on North Captiva is the perfect escape
10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I had a delightful time in this house on North Captiva Island. Cozy and private explains it well. Plenty large enough for 2, but 4 people would be OK as the bedrooms are separate and there are 2 bathrooms. Living space was comfortable and the internet was good. The island was very relaxing with it's sand streets, golf carts and plenty of great beaches. Mangos and Mainstay were fine for food and Over the Water offered exceptional food. We flew our Cessna 210 in as the owner of this house is a member of the airport - otherwise there is an additional fee for a guest pass. They lost the western 3-400' feet or so of the runway- loose sand because of the hurricane - so it's maybe 1600' long?. We had no problem landing or taking off. We crossed the "numbers" at 75 knots and braking on the grass was good. Taking off was good too - Use short field technique- 20 degrees flaps and stay in ground effect until climb speed was up. Overall, we loved our stay! "
Private Beach Access Steps Away, Pool, Outdoor Bar, 2 Golf Carts, 360 Views.
10/10 Excellent
"We have stayed at many different houses on the island this this one is for sure one of my favorites. The kitchen had all the gadgets including an ice maker that came in very handy. Definitely the coldest AC on the island! The heated pool also had cooling feature which we really appreciated cooling down after those long hot summer days. The property management staff was on point. Anytime we needed something fixed or addressed they were attentive and quick. Very happy with our stay overall. The only extra thing that would have been nice to have would have been bikes for the tweens to get around the island on their own."
"This house was a great place to stay on North Captiva. The property manager is fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and to help with all our needs from finding a place to dock our boat to an extra golf cart and so much more. If you are looking for a great place with an amazing view this is it! "
WHITE PELICAN WATCH- Unobstructed views, on beach, heated pool, slip NEW LISTING
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing vacation at the White Pelican. Everything was perfect and everyone was very attentive. Thank you for the memories! We will definitely be back"
"We are already planning a return trip. To be steps from the actual beach was such a gift. Down the way where there is public beach access, many vacationers paid charter boats to take them to our island. However, we could simply walk the beaches at our leisure on our own schedule. No need to hire and schedule an outing. We also didn't need to hire a fishing guide as many others do. We knew enough about fishing to acquire licenses and bring our own equipment and caught fish right off our shore and dock because it was a prime spot. The highlight was catching a shark! Our hosts were very, very good and made us feel comfortable. They communicated pertinent information and were available if ever needed. Our family enjoyed beach combing. We found conch, starfish, sea urchin, jelly fish, and ALL SORTS of shells. (We brought home an entire tote of shells!) There is even a shipwreck to check out. Our older kids enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and all sorts of beach games like cornhole and volleyball. The beach was an enjoyable place to sit in the sun or under the shade of umbrellas. This vrbo home was our vacation and it was truly worth every penny."
