"The beach view was good, there were a few stray dogs and constantly being asked to buy things. The room was outdated and the television did not work. The bed was extremely hard and bathroom was small, the shower filled up with water during my shower and would overflow. "
Viva Tangerine by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive
4/10 Poor
"You get what you paid for. We walked out of the one a la carte restaurant (Melt) as it was so bad - took one bite of the appetizer and left. The buffet didn’t change the entire week we were there. Food was not great, barely ate the whole trip & came home extremely hungry / was sick a lot from being hungry. The Mexican & Italian restaurant weren’t too bad (at least edible). The AC worked half the time, so everything in the room was damp & warm from humidity. There was only one bar on the property, so we were waiting in line for a drink on average from 5-10 minutes, sometimes more. The wifi worked half the time as well, kept cutting in and out, would work for 5 minutes then wouldn’t. Would connect to one of our devices, and not the other (not the end of the world, but as someone that works online/remote - this was frustrating) The staff were nice enough…. Honestly, I wouldn’t go back to this resort - probably worst all inclusive I’ve been too. "
"THIS WAS ONE OF THE NICEST HOTELS I HAVE BEEN IN IN TH DR. RUEBEN AND HIS STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONAL.ROOMS WERE CLEAN,FOOD WAS GREAT, AND AMBIANCE WAS IMPECCABLE. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN."
"My room was lovely, very clean, and comfortable. The room overlooked the pool - I was at the center of everything. The staff was so helpful and kind, from the driver (Luis) they connected us with to the wait staff, cook, bartenders, maintenance, and a welcoming reception. The food was absolutely lovely, fresh, and the taste was amazing! We celebrated my son's 11th birthday there. I can't wait to return. My one regret was that I had zero time to enjoy the yoga classes. But I will return soon."
"Small, older motel-style hotel with bar/restaurant on site.
In the restaurant the staff were very kind, attentive and helpful (The steak was great and drinks were good).
Discovered Cockroach infestation (multiple sizes) in our room (kitchen).
Owner was extremely belligerent and combative, refused any resolution including denying checkout receipt.
(Contacted via front desk staff and directly by Expedia, see owner responses to other guest reviews for reference.)
Restaurant is run by a different individual.

"The room was nasty, roaches all over the desk and tv console & the bathroom as well. The only reason we stayed is because we had no car to leave. We barely slept & kept waking up to kill roaches. We kept our clothes and toiletries in our suitcases. The shower was full of previous guest hair and moldy. The excuse from the front desk was that this room had been blocked and they gave it to us anyway. Unacceptable!!! We did like the restaurant staff, food was ok views were nice from that area. "
"Rooms were not as advertised. King studio with kitchen has solar hot water so mornings and cloudy days, you will not get hot water. The pool definitely left something to be desired. We did not see it cleaned while we were there. Hotel unfortunately had a very run down feeling but has huge potential. Great location. Great staff. Rooms were cleaned well but not every day. We would still return but choose a different room. The location is the best part. "
"The location is alright about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff is friendly and carried one of our heavy suitcases upstairs to our room. The rooms look nice, but had dead bugs in the corners and little issues. The bathroom door wouldn’t latch closed and the towel rack fell off of the wall when I took my towel off. The shower water was lukewarm most of the time and very hot and difficult to control other times. Some of the wall electrical outlets didn’t work.
Overall the rooms were spacious and looked nice. The kitchen and dining room was large and had dishes in the cupboards. There was a 5 gallon water cooler for refilling water bottles. Most of the hotels in the area had a restaurant, however this one doesn’t, so we walked to other hotel restaurants."
